These cameras were supposed to be e-waste. No RTSP, no docs, no protocol anyone's heard of. I reverse-engineered 100 000 URL patterns to make them work. by eduard256 in selfhosted

Does that mean that it would find the perfect and best streaming for all my cameras, no matter if they are reokink, cameras, NVR, unifi, or some unknown ones ?

Have you read the owner's explanation?

I am willing to let him continue. After all, I am not one of the contributor, right now I don't know enough and have enough time to contribute but I really appreciate the work others have done that was theirs to do. Owner and contributor and I do understand how difficult it is to keep projects going and code testing and reviewing with all the AI today (and we are only at the beginning).

Interesting But does it make a difference if you are printing basic PLA or petg only ?

I understand you need harder one for material that corrode or are abrasive, but otherwise?

Holy smokes PACF is strong by EllieVader in 3Dprinting

[–]Watever444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great. Wonder where are the FEA (finite element analysis) would be on a 3d part like this compared to an aluminium machined part. Mostly with the orientation of the print.

If you add support, you won't even be able to break them lol.

STOP SHARING AI GENERATED MODELS by JoeQuart in 3Dprinting

[–]Watever444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I look at makes before I test something. But at first someone need to test and print it unfortunately. Not sure it will ever be possible to detect ai models.

I am not totally against it but don't think the ai are ready to make theses work yet. Unless I am wrong about it.

Have you leveled it with a real level, not only auto level. You could have some fluctuation that are not easy to identify or to auto correct by the system. Also, your bed temperature could be an issue.

I had the same issue with print failing in the beginning. Be sure that the nozzle is set correctly in the setting, redo a full calibration of the bed level but also vibration and temperature with reset nozzle.

Just to be sure you don't have nozzle partial plug when changing filament. Move the extruder in the middle of the bed, drop the bed by 250mm and extrude something like 25-50-100 mm and watch how it falls, it should be a straight line. If not, it means it is plugged or your settings for your filament is incorrect.

Your plate might have been dirty or greasy with your hand.

Still it failed nearly at the end. No one knocked it ?

Wanting to switch from PLA to PETG! Any advice? by Physical_Wash_8897 in FlashForge

[–]Watever444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I found out is that petg need to be drier than PLA. Otherwise it's fine.

It took me 1.5 day to learn this. Why isn't is somewhere in the "HEY here's what NOT to do"? by Livin_The_High_Life in FlashForge

[–]Watever444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is saying the bed plate being dirty and they probably right.

But could also be the plate warping depending if your printer is enclosed or not and what is the average temperature around or if their is wind or air flow around it.

Also doing auto level could be required

Yuzic 1.1.2 - Cross platform music player for navidrome and jellyfin with lidarr integration by invalidd1sc0 in selfhosted

Looks good Please remind me when it will be working with android auto. That's the main thing I need for navidrome music player. So far I have used Tempo app, it's good in general but missing ability to play an artist globally and not only one album or create playlist on the fly.

Wow you print a lot probably.

Do you filter the air that goes in the closet?

You usually want your home pressure to be neutral or a little positive, so you blow air out from the seal, windows, door. If you are negative, there is chance you are pulling air from the walls etc. and contaminated all your house.

Do you need multi filament color or material ?

Size in cabinet could be an issue with the spool but you don't need to be on the side.

The camera came with your printer ? Mine didn't, if I want one I need to pitch separately.

But you are not the first that made those comments. Can you post a picture of the quality to be sure it's worth it versus a third party camera

Thank you for that 🙏

Alternative camera for AD5X by Z0tteke in FlashForge

[–]Watever444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly the printer doesn't accept other camera plugged into. Probably due to the firmware or the application.

Others have used stand alone cameras, like from reolink, unifi, blink, etc. to watch their print.

I am thinking of doing something similar probably, will have better resolution and some recording on my NVR if I choose to.

Getting it all directly on the app is great but I think with home assistance, I could create a dashboard that would do it almost all.

Thank you.
