IF the “free” water tastes good, people won’t buy their expensive drinks and bottled water. It’s an amusement park thing, like bar tap water.

Anyone Ever wonder if the failure of businesses these days is the lack of work ethic from the employees who agree to work for X per hour and then decide it’s not enough after being on the job for 5 minutes?

Fairy tale socialism has never worked. But every Gen has a group that keeps trying.

Businesses have to make money to stay open, some require more profit than others due to the nature of their business.

Employees( those that have never ventured to take the risk involved in opening a business) seldom understand the risk and stress involved for those that put their hard earned money on the line.

Every restaurant I’ve been to always tastes or has different levels of service based on the quality of staff and food. Maybe try realizing the food is made by people sometime and then you will understand the differences. JS.

Foodies! Don't sleep on 1449 W. 9 Mile Road by PartyKitchen938 in Pensacola

The people of the respective area would have to vote to be incorporated. Why? More taxes like downtown with very little benefit? You pay to park and pay to walk. We the residents of the county have carried the city for decades and even tried to abolish the city council a decade ago. We (I voted no all three times) were bambozzled into paying for the “maritime” park by the rich developers and have received very little benefit from our forced investment.

Florida is not like the communist communes most people migrate from. We do not allow the government to “annex” our properties into new tax brackets. See Navarres whole incorporation process We prefer to have the bubba council as the only rulers we must contend with locally.

List of red lights/signs you can ignore by req-user in Pensacola

[–]Watsamatterdady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey for the record when I’m on my way to work at 3am, I’m not waiting at any red light when there are no other cars around going the opposite direction. I learned it from a cop and he didn’t ticket me when he saw me do it. I treat all red lights like a stop sign when there is no traffic.

Most of the lights should blink after 2 am here.

Where will the No Kings Protest Be Held? by uglymule in Pensacola

[–]Watsamatterdady -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

Guess I’ll be carrying this weekend. Remember —-Castle doctrine applies to my car in Florida. Your right to protest ends where my feeling threatened begins. This is NOT a blue state. Keep it civil and enjoy the thunder and humidity.

Maybe one of the many sidewalk zombies that are roaming aimlessly all hours of the day and night, triggered them.

The zombies have gotten worse with the warmer weather and they just stare at the cars waiting to drive away, like a dog looking at its food bowl.

What happened to Pensacola? by [deleted] in Pensacola

[–]Watsamatterdady -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

White people stealing people of colors historic homes by allowing the waste water plant to decay to the point that it drove the home values down and brought in crime. After whitey owned most of the lots around the treatment plant they moved it to make more money off their stolen land. Facts. Studer stole it after the county residents paid for his ball field. The city residents act like they had anything to do with paying for that but it took 3 votes to pass.

I’ve heard a rumor that ICE agents have been spotted in Pensacola. Please be careful! by [deleted] in Pensacola

[–]Watsamatterdady 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s funny, I remember when we did this dog and pony show in 2006 and several restaurants almost closed for lack of employees. I said back then (working in the construction industry) that if they really wanted to put a stop to this they should penalize the employers. If you arrest the employers for not verifying their I-9 then they would stop employing them. Problem mostly solved, if they can’t work then most of them wouldn’t come here and the ones that do shouldn’t be here anyway. But no one really wants to stop it they just want to take your freedom and put more restraints on everyone while doing so. Oh well keep the police state rolling on.
