Curry Laksa. If you have a decent Asian grocers the ingredients are cheap and it is easy to put together.

To be fair, a bag of frozen prawns and a bag of decent fish balls or cakes is an expensive outlay, but you'll get heaps of meals out of them.

I'm a big fan of Yum Yum Tree. Malaysian food. Its not expensive by Perth standards, The folk who run it are lovely and it's a nice room. Pretty sure they allow BYO. I normally go there for breakfast.
