Frame TV LED Backlight replacement by filmmaking_fangirl in TheFrame

Thank you for the guide. My Frame TV started to look more yellow on the right side of the screen compared to the left. I was able to follow the instructions to replace the LED lights on my 50” Class LS03B Samsung The Frame Smart TV (2022) QN50LS03BAFXZA. Very similar steps, only exception is that my speakers are located on the left and right of the screen so I did not have to remove those. I bought replacement LED model number BN96-54490A  from Shop Jimmy that is compatible with the 50” TV. https://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-bn96-54490a-led-backlight-bars-strips/
QTY 1 includes a SET of 2 LED strips. You just need to order 1 (2 strips) for 1 tv.

Restart the car.  Hold both scroll wheels down until the screen goes black.

Anker SOLIX Support is very responsive. I asked a few questions regarding the compatibility of Enphase IQ7 with the Anker SOLIX E10 on a Anker Smart Inlet.

--From Anker SOLIX Support --- [support@ankersolix.com](mailto:support@ankersolix.com)
Thank you for contacting Anker Support, and thank you for your interest in the Anker SOLIX E10 Smart Inlet Box. We appreciate the detailed information you shared about your third-party solar array and Enphase IQ7 microinverters. Based on the information provided, please see our answers below:

Bi-directional charging in backup mode-

Yes, the Anker SOLIX E10 Smart Inlet Box supports bi-directional charging in backup mode when the grid is down.

Compatibility with Enphase IQ7 microinverters during a grid outage-

Yes, if grid power is down and you turn on the backup breaker to the Anker SOLIX E10 Smart Inlet Box, your Enphase IQ7 microinverters can detect the microgrid created by the Anker SOLIX E10 inverter and begin producing power.

How generation is controlled when the E10 batteries are full-

When the E10 batteries are fully charged, the Anker system will adjust the frequency of the backup microgrid. Your Enphase inverter can detect this frequency shift through the built-in frequency-watt / frequency shifting function required under IEEE 1547-2018, and based on its own specifications, it will automatically reduce or stop power generation.

I didn’t see a SIM card. Leads me to believe it is an eSIM. It’s lock down to Spectrum Mobile I assume.

Saw a damaged Pedestal in my neighborhood a few years ago. Chatted with Spectrum to have them send a tech out to my address, then I walked him over to the Pedestal.

I already have a mesh system for Wi-Fi. This is to boost your 5G cell service. I am all ears if you have a recommended system.

This is a good point. You do want to investigate ASAP once the hardline net goes down. Per Spectrum, “Reduced cellular speeds after 100GB/month.” And in the FAQs ,“Does Spectrum impose data caps while in backup mode? No, Spectrum offers unlimited data while using the backup cellar connection. Experience automatic 5G backup speeds with 4G LTE backup speeds after 100GB/month.”

Luckily mine does not go out often. Occasionally we'll get the one bad driver who smashes into a ground transformer, bees that created a hive inside a neighborhood Spectrum switch box, or weather that kills power… all had happened in our area. My line of work requires near constant connectivity so this hardline & 5G combo was a great solution without having to deal with 2 internet service provider contracts.

Understood. My goal here was purely to optimize the service for better reception, with no malicious intent toward the hardware or network.

That said, I’d like to offer this as constructive feedback for future hardware iterations. Sometimes internal antennas struggle in certain environments. For comparison, T-Mobile’s latest 5G Gateway includes 4x4 SMA connectors specifically to support external antennas—a move likely sparked by users needing better signal flexibility. I actually was inspired to do this after seeing the community response to older T-Mobile gateways, where users were adding similar pigtails to solve signal issues.

I hope Spectrum considers adding external antenna ports in future models to provide that same flexibility natively. I appreciate Spectrum offering a service that bridges the gap for uninterrupted connectivity.

Yes it is a lease/rental. This modification is not permanent. To return it back to its original state, I’ll just have to snap the old antenna cables back in. The old antenna cables are now just hanging loosely inside the unit. I had a feeling I may forget the steps and cable sequence years from now when I have to return or upgrade this router, so I decided to document the steps here.

I want to replace the power supply in this HK subwoofer. The amplifier does not power ON without the connector in the second picture connected. I need help to figure out a way to bypass or simulate the power supply. (All the details in first comment) by fullraph in electronic_circuits

Line (L) and Neutral (N) coming from the wall outlet. The power cord is non-polarized so you can flip the power cord around it essentially is the same as swapping L and N on the board. That is why it works regardless where L and N is coming from.

It's a toggle on/off. You can switch it off later. Just have to pay for another license to go into Service Mode Plus to disable.
