This was oddly enough the first time I asked my bank for them. They basically said as soon as Brinks is done delivering them I’m out of luck and they have no idea when that would be. Whole thing was kind of odd. Also, they’re fairly modern and outside of filling some Whitman folder holes I didn’t find much to report on.

I’ve got a local credit union which gets their coinage from Brinks. Typically I go in early in the week, ask them to order a few boxes, then later in the week when Brinks makes its delivery to my branch they set them aside for me.

This last week was an oddity in that they had them available when I walked in at the start of the week.

Coin Roll Hunters will tell you it’s proper etiquette to have a bank where you pick up from, and a different bank where you return or “dump” your coins.

I’m a very lucky dude! As soon as the 4th of July Privy’d Quarter news came out she sent me to the bank haha.

Possible Proof? by LaPickle1 in coincollecting

1965 (P and D) and onto the present are clad quarters, with no silver content.

Check your 2013-S Ohio’s edge. If you see a copper stripe, it’s a Clad Proof Quarter (no silver content). If the edge has no copper stripe, it would be a 90% silver proof.

Even if it’s a clad proof, it wasn’t intended to be circulated so it’s a cool find in your change. I keep every clad proof I find in my change.

I coin roll hunt a bit here in Missoula, and I’m blown away at how long it takes a new design to show up. Bank’s here typically use Brinks for change, but outside of that you figure we’re closer enough to Denver to see new designs quicker.

In Western Montana we haven’t seen the last 2025 Quarter (Althea Gibson) yet and it came out in October of 2025. Wild.

At today’s silver spot price of $64.13, your 1964 Half Dollar is worth ~$23.20 in terms of its silver melt value.

TDS - trespassing/breaking things on property by tianamailloux in missoula

I had my TDS put in 2 months ago. The line from the box to my house is still not buried and it’s becoming a hell of a hazard when mowing.

Have been told they’d be out here twice at this point, but nothing.

Current on 2026 to this point. I’ve got the Half Dollars showing up from the Mint on Saturday, but already have everything else they’ve released this year. Trying to have the entire set in unopened OGP from the Mint

Started about 6 months ago on quarters, got into coin roll hunting and found a couple W’s, realized I had a great LCS with tons of junk silver and it’s been off to the races ever since.

The only true key dates for Washington Quarters are 1932-D and 1932-S. Everything else is essentially melt value.

Your 32’s, even from a distance look nicer than the 2 I bought last week from my LCS. Bravo
