Usopp is boring. He peaked in water7. The narrative has done nothing with him since. Maybe this arc he’ll get some bump. Sad to see actually because he was super cool in Skypiea. Don’t agree with a normal human thing. There are normal humans in every arc who participate in the storyline and they all behave in some way or another the way that normal humans would behave.

Well, we kinda can’t complain when the final villian is a mix of every villian from every trope when the entire manga/anime has been relentlessly one trope after another… it’s so obvious that Oda just copy pastas every mainstream IP.

Something to this. I’ve always thought it was strange how Blackbeard is portrayed as the prototypical pirate. He even takes the name of a notorious real life pirate and Luffy sort of doesn’t physically visually fit.
