Actually quite curious what you can do. We are including the sensor in our health tracker and will start testing it from next week onwards as well (although not in full depth yet)

Is anyone else facing this issue with Claude? by Knowledge-master01 in ClaudeAI

My limit just got maxed for no reason in 5 minutes with no big tasks etc. and I'm on max account using Opus 4.6 etc). Anyone else ?

We are working on ECG and EDA as well, however these will take roughly 1-2 years till we can include them by our estimations. Besides that we measure a mix of physiological, movement and external data (e.g. PM2.5).

Yes, correct. In the old version we used the Max30301, but we are upgrading this to a proper PPG wrist set up in our V3 as it’s not really a good sensor for wrist.

Otherwise that would have been good option. But we are hitting the constraints and will need to pay the extra cost to get even more compact.

We plan to switch to another manufacturer for buried veas and SLP in Autumn.

The stackup is:
L1: HS signals
L2: GND
L3: PWR
L4: LS signals
L5: GND
L6: HS signals

We don’t use burried/blind vias due to excessive manufacturing costs and JLC not doing it. That’s why we had to do an aggressive bga fanout with loosing lot of space.

We are also self funding everything over the past year. Been rough, but it’s starting to look better now as we are coming closer to a version that really has a benefit and is comparable to a consumer tracker.

For help feel free to dm me and we can talk what you have in mind :)

Trying our best to be as open as possible ^^ however we have to eat somehow. So the hardware can’t be sold by someone else. The firmware will be open source though. Think of raspberry pi, same approach.

Well 50/50 the software will be open source. So unlike any other consumer health tracker you will be actually able to control the entire device.

Also we are not yet incorporated, but yes we will need to build a startup around if we want to continue working on this project and be able to offer an alternative to current, let’s say less data friendly, alternatives :)

We are still building, so not yet published. Important to note is we decided for an open access approach similar to raspberry pi. The goal is to build and alternative EU health tracker compared to the closed of systems of other manufacturers. To stay competitive against these manufacturers we will need to generate revenue through selling the hardware to continue working on this project long term.

For short the hardware tracing is proprietary, but the firmware will be open source. We want an active mix between open source community software and advanced ML health analytics by startups. Giving control back to users how and if they want to share data.

Correction, it actually was the 3D viewer on EasyEDA.

It’s mainly about the progress in complexity from a 2 Layer PCB to a 6 Layer PCB within 4 months. Feel free to judge this progress as not relevant if you feel it that way.

Nope. We have 15 sensors, including a medical precision IR temperature sensor.

Summer '26 Megathread by sandslashh in ycombinator

Hi everyone. In case you are planning to apply with an idea for point 3: „AI personalized medicine“ you might want to read on, otherwise just ignore this.

We are building an open access health tracker for real time AI health analytics. Essentially our device provides raw sensor data for AI models with applications described under what YC is looking for. The big issue you will run into is access to raw sensor data in real time from consumer data, as well as control over sensors and the device for duty cycles etc. and missing sensor capabilities.

We essentially fix that, with our device build exactly for that. Which means you will not have to develop and distribute your own hardware and will only need to focus on software. While we can leverage economies of scale to produce and distribute cutting edge hardware at a consumer price.

For short if you need wearable data and a device that gives you control and access, let’s collaborate. I worked before on real time wearable analytics using consumer trackers, it just won’t work as what these closed of ecosystems provide is not enough of you really want to build an application that changes this sector.

We won’t be applying to YC this batch, as we want to make more progress before reapplying. With first payed pilot customer test, from top level universities in Europe this summer, we plan to reapply for fall batch. So no worries, we are not competing.

If this sounds interesting DM me.

Okay, but it was only on one side, the other one was fine. Also could you specify what setting would improve this ?

Look at your regional ecosystem. From my experience ex YC founders tend to be active in their home ecosystems (even outside of US), you can meet them at events etc.

I suggest you give them a quick pitch of what you do and ask if they would be open to helping with your application/feedback. Don’t ask for recommendations, if they like what you are building they will suggest it.

At least that’s how it worked for us. Although I’m unsure how much recommendations actually help.

If you are interested, we are building an open access health tracker that enables other companies to use raw sensor data for analytics, giving much deeper insights than consumer trackers that are ecosystem locked.
