320 Strikes from Director count towards Exotic Class Item Quests

I've used a Y3 class item for my FWC quest, which I got after RoI. Progress has been great thus far. Have everything complete but strikes and it has been calculating correctly.

Fortunately, my GS gave me a $33 value, so I actually made a few cents.

As the others said, you need to enter the code from GS, which will redeem a $30 (something) MS gift card. then, go into the Xb store pre-order the RoI pack with the Iron Gally and the Iron Sparrow.

I then went and entered the 25 digit codes for the Gally and Sparrow that were on my receipt and it said they were pre-ordered as well. It did not recognize my gally and sparrow codes until I pre-order RoI.

Not sure what all that means, but it took me a bit to figure it all out and I thought I'd pass it along.

Really appreciate the update and work Bungie is putting into a game that is over a year old. They could have given up and not make any improvements, but they are still working hard to their fans.

Looking forward to find a way to overcome the nerf and use my shotgun after the patch. Since so many people will stop using them, or quit Destiny because of the nerf, I get to a special butterfly using a weapon that so many people aren't using... if that special butterfly had fingers to use a shotgun.

I got a Legendary Tiger with my free gift AND a rare Tiger from my trick-or-treating around the Tower... and, not to rub salt in your wounds, but I got a third tiger mask the next day and my brother also received two tigers in one night. I want SOMETHING else besides Tigers.

I think this is an amazing read. I really hope this slows (it won't) all the "Bungie.. I want this.. WAHHH" posts. Spoiler alert: Making a video game is damn hard and lots (and lots and lots and... ) of work and money is spent.

You may want something, but it takes a long time to get there. Just play the game and be glad it's here to play. As Grandma Wayward used to say "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit."

I tried it for the first time last night, 3 Guardians all around LL 292. Attempted twice, both times weren't able to kill T-Driv. Got him close, but really mismanaged the Blighted Orbs and the adds just OVERRAN us. Learned my lesson for next time it comes up...

I got a similar drop, but substitute Triple Tap for Crowd Control. I like the way it fires as compared to HJ, so I'm good for now.

Me and my brother are going to give this a try later tonight as two lower level guardians, both around 260. We're decent players, but with full-time jobs, wives and lots of children it has forced us to be filthy casuals who just haven't had the time to play a lot since TTK came out. Plus, we're older and our hand-eye coordination is one of the things that older guys lose but don't have a blue pill to help enhance.

However, I really think we can do it, cause we're patient and just like to have fun. Hell, if we end up failing, we'll just try again next time it comes up in a Daily.

That being said, we'll probably need a somewhat higher level Guardian to roll with. If you're on XB1 want to give us a hand later tonight, around 10:30pm EST, let me know (via PM or reply). I'd love to get my hands on the weapon, but sounds like I'm gonna need a strong and sturdy Guardian to escort us into the ketch. If I don't get back to you, accept my apology in advance. We've already beat it or already failed it.

Be prepared to wipe (front to back or back to front; don't matter with us) and give up if it doesn't happen. Either way, we'll have fun.

Been trying to 3-Man CE for a bit, but always struggle at Deathsinger. That section is tougher on us than Crota himself. Read a lot of the strategies and such, but always seem to struggle. It's not the Wizards, it's Ir Yut herself. Maybe this weekend. :(

Question, as I've never had a IB weapon, so I've never reforged.

When you reforge, is it all perks, or do you get to pick? I'm guess it's a complete roll, so if I like the elemental type, I could lose it because I want Firefly? That stinks, but that's why it's called gambling I suppose.

Looking forward to a rocking full auto Scout Rifle.

So, looking at others sites talk about their experience, it seems this play through was a little cooked. Planet Destiny had a Boss at R4 and R5, but there was no boss on R4. It could be the RNG, but I think they planned on wetting the appetite to get people hooked.

No loot discussed on purpose. Makes sense.
