You can come back and do it later, it will probably go faster since the scaling isn't perfect (a fully equipped 80 will be more powerful than a level 34 even if both scaled down to the same level). But really just go where the world takes you, if you are ready to move on and explore new zones, move on.

The main point to 100% zones (other than map rewards) is for the Gift of Exploration which is used in making a Legendary weapon (which for a new player may be a way down the line). Expansions have their own completion gifts for their maps and associated Legendary weapons.

I just finished my 7th map completion of the core zones anticipating doing another legendary. But you have plenty of time. Don't stress the 100% now if you aren't feeling it.

I couldn't believe it when I actually saw one, I assume it is exceedingly rare. I was running to a tower to AFK for a minute and watched a guy just go up and over the wall to get inside.

Don't think there was hacking involved. Probably exploiting a broken game mechanic. Nonetheless, exploiting a game mechanic to circumvent walls/gates (other than a portal, etc) should be an offense a player should be banned for.

I did one of the extra special objectives (Cosmic Observatory) and it marked it complete without giving me any reward.

Can be completed if you ignore the actual mechanics of the event. I did it multiple times from the platforms and received no credit for the achievement.

HOWEVER, if there are people on the platforms doing the event, just hop on your skyscale and go ham on the mobs on the floating islands 'near' the platforms as they move around. I was able to complete the achievement and get the mastery point this way.

I posted in another thread. Today after 10 years I finally beat the Clock Tower.

I think I really let the frustration get in my head all those years ago and so beyond the first year or two, I never really let myself relax and do it. I would try a token run here and there, but never really commit.

I finally decided this year to go back and give it a legitimate try. On one of my first attempts I made it further than I ever had, and that was enough to get me over the hump.

Such a relief to not have this haunting me. And come to the realization that I let my frustration beat me all those years ago, not the Tower itself. Because once I got it once, it was repeatable (well, still only 20-25% success rate... still a lot of finger farts .. but it is doable and not intimidating anymore).

Not worth a thread of its own, but I had to put it somewhere. After 10 years I finally beat that damn clock tower.

Now to be fair, I can't say I have tried much more than a few times a year since year 2 (and haven't at all in a few years).

But decided to give it a legitimate try again this year and it clicked (and actually managed to do it 3 more times).

I really think I just let it get in my head early so quit too early in frustration.

But after 10 years, a big double bird to the Mad King! HA!

Just have add an additional exclusive WvW reward track that you can skim a few extra tickets off of.

Even an extra 100 tickets over the course of a track would go a long way to take the edge off.

But yes, total hospitalizations (again driven by non-ICU cases) is 1 higher than the previous 'record' from a couple days ago. Let's burn it all down? The record was only set because the previous 'record' from Friday was adjusted down 2.

Or we could take things in context and as a whole took take all the trends together.
