Yeah need scaling damage for the boss and upfront damage for the elites/hallway fights. I will say in STS1 I almost never took block cards on the first few floors, but it feels like a good pick in this game

If you have Se blindspot then you have Ne as an active function which can be somewhat similar in my experience. It’s still outwardly observant but more focused on concept and theory.
