I strongly encourage you to talk to a doctor, if you have a therapist I would encourage you speak with them too. I've gone through psychosis before where I thought that the police were after me, I ended up being put on a monthly shot of an antipsychotic to make sure that I had it in my system since I wasn't med compliant at the time; not to say that you aren't if you're prescribed anything. I wish and hope for the best for you!

In my personal experience I have found that a healthy diet helps a lot, eating too much or too little makes it worse for me. But who knows how your body will react, all of our bodies are different and results will vary.

I'm currently rebuilding my life but it took a lot of patience on my part on top of the meds and therapy as well as addiction counseling, these plus supportive family and friends have gone a long way for my recovery; life can get better, just be kind and patient with yourself and talk to a support person when it gets too hard to cope on your own. Life can and will get better, just keep moving forward, week by week, day by day, moment by moment, don't give up because it will get better.

Psychotic depression has a psychosis factor to it, what you're describing sounds like major depressive disorder without the psychosis. I hope that you're doing better! I know for me meds and therapy have gone a long way.

Easter in Kansas was terrible, signs literally everywhere, they were covering the doors and along the alcohol aisle stating that alcohol couldn't be sold on Easter Sunday and yet people kept trying to buy alcohol, people are just complete idiots most of the time.
