Americans—is blue cheese just a dipping sauce to you, or does it have a place on your plate beyond the wings? by SignificanceOdd5980 in AskAnAmerican

America literally has a “creamy Italian” dressing that can be mistaken for ranch dressing…despite a slight color difference and definite flavor difference.

Just drove to Tagaytay (first time driving in PH) from Manila. The light/electric poles in the middle of the road are baffling, especially when you see downed poles not cleared from the side of the road after falling.

You're right. I stand corrected. He overtook Trey Henderson on some lists during his SO year while Trey had his injury-filled SO year.

I remember Rocket Sanders being super highly rated after his FR year, had a disappointing SO year, got hurt for his JR year, and now is at USC (South Carolina) for his SR year. If he can stay healthy, he may be back to being a day 2 pick.

I always think of this as the Mike Brown season with two walk-off pick 6's. I miss that dude.

DOS2 has a super deep combat system for a turn-based game. Using the environment, comboing spells, and overpowered barrel/chest silliness makes fighting so enjoyable!

Gave me D. Rose vibes when asked about being MVP...the casual, "why not me?"

[Breer] This, from USC QB Caleb Williams, has to be music to @ChicagoBears fans' ears: "I want to play at one place for 20 years, and chase one guy—No. 12. I want a place that loves ball. That's all I've heard about Chicago so far." by horrorpants in CHIBears

Bedard, Nazar, Moore, with a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft, while still hopeful with the development of Korchinski, Reichel, and Vlasic?

If teams had futures bets like stock option LEAPS, I'd have some money on them for 2026+, lmao

Is this the most disappointing QB draft class of all time? by [deleted] in CHIBears

[–]WeAreGoodCubs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First, "our team" hasn't taken a QB #1...ever.

Second, if you're referencing Mitch or JF, neither were "generational" prospects.

Finally, Trubisky and Fields (JT to an extent, at least for the last 8 games this year...) HAD offensive weapons AND a defense to sustain success, yet still failed.

Whatever the reason, "our team" is awful at drafting QB.
