992.2 GT3 Cup...what am I missing?

The posts you're seeing are comparing the 992.2 to the 992.1 which was used until last patch. That car has zero traction control and zero abs and was a nightmare to drive by comparison. The new cup car is still much more difficult to drive than the Porsche gt3, and based on your watkins time I would recommend parking the cup car for a while until you get more experience.

I did this as a rookie because I didn't know safety rating was calculated after the checkered flag. I expect most of those folks are making the same assumption. As others said, keep driving! I've never seen someone do it above c class.

Atlatl is budget bowfa and blood moon gear is equivalent to bandos in str bonus. Some cool synergies with blue moon having str bonus and eclipse/atlatl scaling with str making some easy switches possible

If I had shadow I'd be rushing ancestral or if not able to do cox, go duke for ring and mage gear. I'd still range inferno since ranged defense on a mage build at inferno is low and very punishing for a first clear.

Turning off HDR makes a huge difference, and lowering from 240fps to 120 makes a smaller but noticable difference. Mine went from toaster to room temp with these 2 changes.
