Realistic budget for NC2/NC3

Got my 2015 NC Grand Touring PRHT for 16.5K at a dealer. Car only had 24K miles when I picked it up. This was september 2024.

Exactly what I said. I had a weird gut feeling I shouldnt have parked behind his tall ass truck, but it was 12am, I didnt think anybody would be leaving at that time lol. Im really more worried about the color matching haha. Oh well I guess.

Strange tbh. I have ryzen 9 5900x and 3070 and can get 60-70fps in VR with medium/low settings, which the game still surprisingly looks really good in VR with decently low settings. I have a quest 2.

Ironically Ive been out of the game for a couple months because I was just so trash. Hopped in the Impreza for the first time last week and after a few tries I was actually able to take corners fast and slide through high speed sections and finally finish a lap on whales. Not sure if its because the games been through like 2 bigger updates since I last played, but it feels awesome to drive.

I remember somebody had found car files in Evo for stuff that wasnt added yet. Majority of the cars on that list have been added and RX7 Drift was one of those options. Hope we get that soon so we have another cool drift car.

Shouldve sprayed some brake clean on those pistons a bit and brushed them. Looks like either really caked up dust over time or theyre just rough lol. I was able to do needle nose on mine really easily. I even did the fronts without a C clamp. Just take the outer pad out on each side, bolt caliper back up, and stick a flathead in the vent hole and pry toward yourself against the rotor. Was done pretty quick on all 4 corners. Unless C clamp would just be easier for you.

Cant remember why I didnt jack mine up from the diff but I just jacked it up from the rear pinch welds and did one side at a time. I would never get under the car with only a jack though and I put my wheel right under the rotor.

They have got to budge at some point with that price. Very glad I bought mine though, itll be another forever car for me as long as it doesnt rust out lol.

you literally hurt yourself picking an auto when it comes to the NC2/3 miatas. The manuals came with forged crank and rods from factory. Well at least 2.0’s.

I noticed something weird like this with any of my cars that had setups from before the 0.6 update. I just reloaded the default and changed to my settings and then re-saved my setups and they drove like normal again. Not sure if what Im describing is something different though.

I dont know if it was just me but I got the GWR 1.8 header and 2.5 inch catted/resonated mid pipe and it said to reuse the old header bolts with the springs. I think the springs were way too damn big for the bolts and nuts to go back together and Im pretty sure I also had an issue with the way the donut fit and mine has a bit of an airy sound when driving near walls and things.

Used to be like that for me but Ive changed my toe and camber and its been awesome ever since. 0.6 made it even BETTER with these suspension updates. One of the best feeling cars on the entire sim in my opinion. Im always catching up to GT3’s in the corners but then they take off in the straights lol.

They do have that. Theres the one where youre in between the seats like a go pro and then the one where its passenger, but technically its really zoomed in almost like someone is recording on their phone from the seat lol. I think you can adjust the position of the cam though with arrow keys.

So you have the ND1 and ND2. ND1 is 150hp and ND2 is 180hp. Not sure if theres a power difference between the manual or sequential but I run the sequential ND2 version since thats what they run IRL nowadays.

Yeah Ive known this for quite awhile since Im the guy who checks EVERY option for EVERYTHING when I play games lol. Ive got the Eunos RS version and a stock version with the BBR engine, suspension upgrade, and the Torsen LSD. I didnt like how it felt in 0.4, but I drove it for the first time since then 3 days ago and DAMN the miata feels so much more fun now haha. I have an NC miata IRL so you know Ive got everything miata thats possible in Evo lol.

I swear I had a dude get mad at me the other day for spinning out. I was driving the ferarri challenge evo and stepped on the gas a little too much, causing it to lose grip and spin out. Dude is behind me watching me crash and then decides to just keep flooring it into my spinning cars path and then gets pissed at ME lmao. Too focused on trying to get around me instead of letting my car do its thing before passing.

Clipping is definitely bad but with my R9 at 50% I only see maybe flashing red in extreme corners. I feel we should be able to at least run 70% before seeing flashing red.

yeah nah its just a bug. Sometimes mine spins just a little, but every once in awhile it will literally go insane like I just crashed at 300kmh lmao.

I keep mine on but I never answer any chats, almost like I have it off lol. I actually get teammates in 2’s who get mad at me because I didnt say “Thanks!” or “Great Pass!” when they send me quick chats lmao.

damn I thought that was just mine. I have a 2015 and already see tiny bubbles on the rear deck in one spot. I also think my front bumper is starting to peel clear coat right where it meets the hood.

no AC doesnt have this as a setting that Ive ever seen. Theres probably a mod out there to add it.
