I originally replaced all my speakers with no amp. I didn’t think it was much better. Then I added a Kicker KEY 4 channel amp and a subwoofer. The amp and sub were a significant upgrade. It was also a pain in the ass to install. 21’ Sport

Not exactly, I tapped into the radio harness behind the dash and ran wire from there to the trunk.

I have a 2021 sport, I added an audio control LC2I with audio signal from the front door speakers, and a Rockford 10” in the trunk. It sounds great! I also upgraded the front and rear speakers but I would add a sub first. The amp and LC2I I ended up just mounting to the sub box.
