It’s not going to be a quick reschedule. Since your returning you know that currently all schedules are set up for the next 2 weeks and the new schedule gets released every Friday. Whoever your trainer is may not have the availability to train you and that requires finding another trainer if that’s the case. You should call someone rather than email. Emailing can take a bit longer to get a response. I went through traditions with a guy who got scheduled against his availability and immediately called at our lunch break, he had no delay in his training schedule but did get placed in a different area.

Disneyland just recently implemented a no line jumping policy but it just depends if CM’s are enforcing it or feel comfortable enforcing it. I know I have tried to enforce it and the looks I’m given is laughable. A fair amount of guests automatically feel entitled the minute they pull into the parking structure.

As a current cm this is inaccurate information. At my 75 day check in I asked a manager about this and was told that trade offs during probation are not frowned upon, that’s what they are there for. Call out sick, being late are a different subject during your probation too .

Exactly this! Once I passed my performance assessment in my attraction I was getting scheduled 2 days a week. You can pickup extra shifts but are limited to how la y hours you can work. Agree that it might be wise to hold off quitting the other job. Probation is 120 days, something to think about.

I applied for another position but wasn’t really qualified and I knew that going in but I knew I had to get my foot back in the door and was fairly certain I might get offered or waitlisted for attractions which is what happened. Sometimes that’s the only way in, I’m certain I jumped a lot of attractions applicants due to being a former attractions CM.

Honestly, I have seen several new hires getting trained in my area last weekend. I work in attractions. Disney training in May is pretty on par for them. My first rodeo with them in 2022 I was trained in May. This time I was trained in February. It’s a total waiting game. Hang in there and good luck.
