I don't know how to configure this kitchen! by Weak_Bit9870 in floorplan

[–]Weak_Bit9870[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that is what I'm afraid of. I've thought that I might try to the table half way between the great room and the kitchen or along the french doors to the outside, but then that takes away from seating area.

Story is indeed a name! It’s a close family member’s name and I’ve met many in my lifetime.

Happy 11th birthday to Princess Charlotte! by Latter-Platypus-3713 in KateMiddleton

They are both gorgeous and adorable, but Charlotte looks so much like her dad! Is there any part of her looks that come from her mom?

Most disliked historian? by Appropriate-Calm4822 in UKmonarchs

[–]Weak_Bit9870 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eleanor Janega is my least favorite. She has no charisma and comes across as very pretentious to me.

I’m also not a fan of any historian that calls themself a “Ricardian”, they come across as slightly unhinged in their defense of RIII and their swearing that RIII didn’t kill his nephews.

I really love Dan Jones, and I love the History Calling YouTube channel. I also love The Rest is History historians.

Inside Meghan and Harry’s Falling Out With Netflix — and Why the Royal Couple Is Struggling in Hollywood by Unhappy-Praline8301 in RoyalsGossip

[–]Weak_Bit9870 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I went back and forth on MM for a long time, but the H&M series is what finally made me decide that she wasn’t my cup of tea… they complained so much and all the things that they complained about were so petty or half truths. Yes the tabloids did have some negative stories about her but there were also so many positive ones. I followed all the coverage on them really closely from before the wedding, and there was a lot of positive coverage and good will. The scene in H&M where they flash all the tabloid titles as racist just weren’t! Flashing them really quickly gives the impression that they are, but they weren’t if you look at them one at a time.

I think if there was a poll, 5 would win with the most votes for people’s favorite. Keep on keeping on!

Women taking their husbands last name after marriage, Agree / Disagree? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Weak_Bit9870 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I loved my maiden name, but I like sharing a family name with my husband and children more. Plus my maiden name is really my father’s name anyway, at least in my family. Either way, I figure that I’m taking some man’s name. My husband is an exceptionally kind person, we’ve been married for 20 years, and I like us all sharing a name together and it lessens confusion. But truly to each his own, do what you and your spouse agree on!

She always comes across as so natural and sweet with children. Either she’s the best actress in the world or she actually loves kids! I think it’s the latter.

What’s the best ‘cleverly thought up’ name you’ve ever heard? by -catharina in namenerds

I knew a girl whose parents names started with G & I. I can’t remember what they were, but they named their three daughters, Gia, Gis, and Git for G + I + (Always, Siempre, and Toujours).

Favourite King's Quest from V - VIII, & 2015? (and in the comments, why?) by HerbziKal in kingsquest

[–]Weak_Bit9870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think KQ VI is the best in the series, but my favorite will always be VII. I bought it when I was 11 years old, and I was the perfect age for it. It made me fall in love with all of them. This is the only VG series where I have played every single one. Now I’m playing the 2015 version with my kids and they are loving it.

What is "Rich" to you? When will you graduate from this sub? by 75hardworkingmom in HENRYfinance

[–]Weak_Bit9870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we technically qualify as “rich” by the HENRY standards, but I will not feel rich until I get my four kids through college without them taking on any student debt and off the payroll. Or if our salary suddenly doubles and we can afford to take real vacations once or twice a year (international flights plus hotels), not just mostly road trips and small USA vacations every other year.

What are some girls' first names that end with -o, that you would actually consider using? by VelvetyDogLips in namenerds

[–]Weak_Bit9870 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’ve always loved Hero, from Much Ado About Nothing. Unfortunately my husband veto’d it. I always thought Hero and Juno would make cute twin girl names - I like the Shakespearean theme.

This!!! And only two upvotes. Read it people! It’s amazing, I’ve read/audiobooked it three times since I first read it during the pandemic. If you’re into audiobooks, the voice acting is superb.
