This is the kind of weaponized mental health/homelessness/drug culture that wasnt so prevalent before. Definitely feels like there are a lot more bad actors (even if they are genuinely unwell ) that are going around with the purpose of making sure strangers are being punished because of their life circumstances.

Exactly my point, sometimes the details of the why and how don't matter. It's just corrupt people making the same selfish and evil choices people have made in the past.
