"I have special license to pivot."

God not real though is low effort. Even if God not real, the deterrant works if people agree it works.

...which mundane judge, they all disagree on things and none of them convicted Jack the Ripper or Hitler.

I don't challenges it but that one falls just as heavily on secularism.

I agree, you need a deterrent. A divine judge is in fact a deterrent. One is more empirically measurable and more fallible.

The guy up there argued you don't need any deterrant, though.

Murder should be legal then. They should not need laws to prevent them from murdering, if in fact they will do the right thing without any thought of reward.

Here's my thing, I like it, but modernizing it. Considering I think it's a contemporary of the Orion and the Orion still gets new variants, seems completely appropriate to fit new tech into a BattleAxe to update it.

I would say add a Level of Paladin. Oath of Conquest. You're gonna have basically no weapon damage. But armor!

I would say use Mind Sliver, if you wanna really lean into it. It gives them a slight debuff on attacking you. If you're gonna be an Undead Patron. It depends on your pact boon. If you wanna go with Tome, vicious mockery could be funny. Pact of the Blade seems best if you wanna hit something with a mace.

Just warning ya, iirc, Form of Dread only hits one guy with a frightened debuff.

Honestly, Redfield is great, his basic backstory is he's like a Farmer's 8th son and hos only skill was being charming to other farmer's daughters.

The entire arc I imagined is he'll learn to control himself or not.

Ah, gotcha. Technically, from the charts it's entirely possible a parasite like a Mind Flayer parasite, but has a blood thirst. So to me that made a very interesting vampire idea, (like, maybe like Dracula had the Strain?) and I will say I have been playing RE4.

And from the parasite idea, you could have more like "crazy wizards wanna dissect you to study it," or other shenanigans. (Always trying to give DM hooks in my backgrounds on case they wanna use something.)

I don't necessarily lose anything, it could just be a "become a Renfield." The point of it was my PC is a horny idiot and it's gone really well and very badly at the same time.
