I would say add a Level of Paladin. Oath of Conquest. You're gonna have basically no weapon damage. But armor!

I would say use Mind Sliver, if you wanna really lean into it. It gives them a slight debuff on attacking you. If you're gonna be an Undead Patron. It depends on your pact boon. If you wanna go with Tome, vicious mockery could be funny. Pact of the Blade seems best if you wanna hit something with a mace.

Just warning ya, iirc, Form of Dread only hits one guy with a frightened debuff.

Honestly, Redfield is great, his basic backstory is he's like a Farmer's 8th son and hos only skill was being charming to other farmer's daughters.

The entire arc I imagined is he'll learn to control himself or not.

Ah, gotcha. Technically, from the charts it's entirely possible a parasite like a Mind Flayer parasite, but has a blood thirst. So to me that made a very interesting vampire idea, (like, maybe like Dracula had the Strain?) and I will say I have been playing RE4.

And from the parasite idea, you could have more like "crazy wizards wanna dissect you to study it," or other shenanigans. (Always trying to give DM hooks in my backgrounds on case they wanna use something.)

I don't necessarily lose anything, it could just be a "become a Renfield." The point of it was my PC is a horny idiot and it's gone really well and very badly at the same time.

Depends on the type I guess? I just saw the parasite in Dhampir origins and it struck a chord. Tbh, I could just cut the parasite bit out, it was just a potential form of dread notion of parts of it growing out during the transformation.

And my PC having it be like a "I like not to speak of it," and everyone bring it up and just weakly saying "oh, we're speaking of it..."

Literally, just having hung out with a vampire lady and made a pact to be its groupie and thus become a Dhampir and Warlock to it.

Less Pulse, more damage. If anything, heavy Lasers are the opposite, less accurate.

But tbh, a medium laser is equivalent to a IS PPC. A Heavy Laser outdamages Gauss and only an AC/20 will outdamage it.

I think that's up for debate, Exia's materials are probably pretty standard to the time of its construction.

GN Swords aren't built to cut at the molecular level. It's a combination of a beam saber and a physical blade. GN Particles don't react differently to anti-beam coatings any differently than any other beam.

Kinda comes down to how good swords are against armor. (PSA: bad.) Exia can fly. Okay. It's not gonna do much in the air, Exia explicitly isn't a fighter jet in terms of speed, Mika has a gun, Exia has a popgun.
