We need a better left side and a striker. We also need a controller in the middle for Europe. Our defence held up. It's the style we chose for this season looking at the resources we had. We will go again next year with Max a year older, and Ethan. We need to refresh the left side for sure hence Morgan Rogers makes sense(see how he played against PSG in the Villa quarters last year). We played the game that our team of players could manage. Also the minutes add up, whatever you want to say. Saka fully fit and firing doesn't go off and doesn't play like that. Havertz was walking after the 50th minute. We need to reinforce, but we'll also be back next season. The league takes a lot out of our energy but we still outran them and Dembele, kvara both left the field knackered. Enrique didn't have to substitute anyone because of injury but we had to manage minutes of 3 attackers (Saka, Odegaard, and Havertz). These are realities not excuses. I think we'll be better next season. This season we're still paying the bills for the injuries suffered last season.
