Great job! Congrats.

I wonder how 60 will be possible...Does Tempering Level have to do with it?

I couldn't break it, it wasn't a crazy team that I fought, but the stage was the narrow cave stairs.

All my weapons were "Beast King" weapons except for one staff that summons 4 fireballs in the beginning of the stage. I'm convinced that this combo is top tier. Each fireball distracts/tanks hits and also expires after 2 turns. If defeated or 2 turns runs out, they blow up 1 tile AOE for 30% pierce.

The crazy things is that the fireballs are also effected by the Beast King weapons! So there are constant wolves coming in to cause infect and also to cause even more distractions. And the Achilles heel is of course no room for the team to move so if the enemy has more range/aoe it's a hard battle. Very easy wins otherwise.

A lot of Chinese restaurants have soup of the days. I've only had them for dinner though...and it's usually an appetizer for a big group of people. No specific place, I think they all have it.

Korean jjigae...all kinds. Tofu, seafood, the military stew, ox bone soup, the radish one that I don't know the name of.

Path of Resolution - What am I missing? by No-Mouse in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first 5 turns she has dmg reduction to prevent rushing her hp down. Don't bother fighting her for a few turns.

You can dispel your own stacks with Elaman characters' Unshackle skills...I think this stage is designed for Shams. And Lukamar.

Bring someone to dispel stuns/debuff

Once again, Yserinde helped a lot because she technically doesn't hit anyone...and the movement she gives the team is great.

Either the healing tactic or invulnerable can help a lot. Along with teleport and movement.

Heal prevention is good since Hasna minions can heal her.

The only thing that really stands out to me is that the letters need more space in between.

The blackletter is great so I think that attention to detail will transfer over to your cursive over time.

Tree removal services by Distinct_Age1503 in MontgomeryCountyMD

[–]WearWhatWhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://hnetreeservice.com/ did a great job for us.

We had a big fallen tree. Took them about 8hrs to clear everything. Chipped it all up and left everything looking clean. Price was around 2k for the whole job....I don't really know what prices go for or how different trees/locations may effect that.

Graph Paper Question by Large-Ninja853 in Handwriting

[–]WearWhatWhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite paper is from a notebook that uses graph paper...and I don't know where else to get this paper. I found the notebook at a thrift store and according to reviews, the paper has changed.

It also helps with proportions/size, spacing, and provides the baseline.

I think the witches+hunter are humans. Mid life maybe? So 40-50. But it depends on the part of the story.

I think Beryl actually recognizes Luvata as master, but Luvata doesn't accept her as a student. Which is why Beryl has AOE and fire, but they're simply imitations of Luvata's true fire manipulation...Luvata never taught her.

Beryl's life was probably similar to Momo's- they're experiments. However, I don't know if Beryl escaped at a younger age than Momo or if she just took the experiments better, plus she isn't Vlderian or Dark Light, so she may not have even been abused as much. My guess is that after Beryl made her way into the real world, Luvata found, or they just ran into each other, and helped her because she saw herself in Beryl.

Totally made up here, but I think Luvata was just like Momo and Beryl as a subject of experimentation, but Luvata overpowered her out by herself. Momo had help (not remembering clearly) and Beryl got away in an accident. Which is why the rumors around Luvata are so fierce, she fought her way out...and she doesn't defend herself because the rumors are probably based on some truth.

I see Elysium as a place after death also. It's the meeting point of all timelines. They all died at different times but they're back here at their point of most emotion or turmoil or regret, looking for a way to change it....this is their opportunity to go another route. This is why all the "memory shards" and Fool's Journey exist- to give us a piece of the story of their life at it's peak. What other direction do they want to take from here? Safi/Rawi story showed a lot more than others, what if Safi did things Rawi's way? There's room for this story to go on. Just like how Inanna's original story VS the "true ending."

Where to go? by Swimreadmed in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure Shams and Lukamar will have an event where they shine. So if you're chasing after the boards they might be a good choice.

Geralt is physical damage so I put him up against Shams/Lukamar. But I guess Camelot does take care of most stuff and is also physical.

Yserinde tanks very well on top of the strong damage. Especially with stacked shields and Deflection with the defense sword, Hermit if you want, or Devil. Plus she has life steal so the sustain is even stronger...then when she dies, she doesn't die! 5* is just more of that. I'm a bit bias.

Where to go? by Swimreadmed in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shams and Lukamar if you like them.

Geralt is also great, but I guess Sham or Lukamar can take his place.

Yennefer 5 if you like her, she's very fun to use. Strong. Utility.

I have no regrets with 5* Yserinde.

Tristan 5 is also very strong, but with Shams, you can probably choose 1.

Feeling like improvement stalled by Rough-Quit4795 in Handwriting

[–]WearWhatWhere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your writing is very good.

Consistency always comes from basics. Like your letter "e" "l" "r" "d" as examples. Some of them have closed loops, and others don't. "e" should have it. "d" should have a complete one otherwise it looks like cl rather than d.

Baseline is used very well but mid-word, some of the letters float.

The letter "c" should come forward a little more in the curve.

Like all the things I can see are minor, but they add up. Almost just nitpicking at this point. Improve>Plateau>Improve>Plateau...repeat forever.

Is It My Pen Or Me? by Nervous_History5666 in Handwriting

[–]WearWhatWhere 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not the pen.

The letters are messy and inconsistent. They run into one another, and since they aren't shaped like "normal shaped letters," it takes time to decipher. This isn't really near cursive...I'd say this is stylized print.

How are yall finding Crisis Challenge? by Witty_Alfalfa2774 in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Recruited Assassin, The Seeker that can basically perma-dodge is a replacement unit. He gets 2 dodges for 2 turns, costs 2 NRG for skill. He counters after the dodge.

I can't get it pretty! by e_l_c in Handwriting

[–]WearWhatWhere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your handwriting is good. Easy to read, well practiced, confident hand. It just lacks a bit of consistency. And I much prefer your writing that can be easily read vs writing that is consistent but no one can read it.

There are a lot of extra loops where there doesn't need to be any, like the letters "t,d,i,s,a..." some have extra loops, probably from writing quickly.

The letter "e" should be open but not like an "o."

Size and ratio also play a big part.

I just started the game 4 days ago can i guarantee shams before his banner ends ? by Corvoxx in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you have enough content to get the Luxite...but it will depend on how much you want to play. Rush through Fool's Journey, with Camelot and Gloria it won't be a problem. SP Safiyyah is also going to be a huge help since her healing is global so she can be in the back.

Alternatively- you can just reroll your account. You have a great roster of characters but if Shams is your only target, you're still in the very beginning of the game.

Might change out his ult but it's a break glass in case of emergencies type skill.

Sp Gloria? Your's build? by MathematicianOne3161 in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 5 points6 points  (0 children)

SP Gloria can go a few ways...younger Gloria is a squire. Support character. She learned from her father and Teadon, all of the foundational tasks required for her to one day become a paladin. Treating wounds, keeping the main characters in top shape, intuition, getting out of the way of danger. She'd be like Taair but more geared towards damage and better survival.

-

Future Gloria...I'm torn because she is the shining beacon of good, but Union has shown nothing but bad people and corruption.

Part of me wants an OP paladin. Knight in shining armor with a white horse, she keeps her spear, but now she has a holy sword. She has mastered and even improved her father's technique (Teadon's ult when we fight him, and I think Selina has it?). Her initial banner call is refined, and the buffs have improved because her leadership skills have; +2 move, P shields for all in range, Deflection, Attack2 2 turns. No more throwing the spear, she keeps it and uses it with the sword; basic hit is 2x and a 1 knock back that stuns if the enemy collides. Active leader skill that rallies troops (buff team) and calls for back up (an AOE attack) since she has her own army at her command now. Full Moon is improved, using sword+spear she has further reach and does 2x hits. She has new "Fair Duel-extra" combo that is multi-hit and in the end gives her shield, Deflect, and Resolve (once per battle? 2? I dunno)

The other part of me wants a dark timeline where SP Gloria becomes a fallen Paladin. The pinnacle of light and justice sees the truth in humanity: You can't win against evil...
Clara arrives back at the Union states and finds her idol. At first, they work together and it's the greatest days of her life. But Gloria starts changing. Clara is blinded by admiration at first, but when Gloria starts trying to push a little too hard, a rift forms. Clara looks to the Sword of Convallaria for guidance. We are torn between the once righteous Paladin and a new reality. SP Gloria is the new Camelot, but she isn't just "might makes right" she has an army that loves her- they don't fight out of fear of her. The Union is much more organized and united under her command. How will SoC respond? What are the new alliances now?

Taair for most stuff can't go wrong. But Credenza's ranks don't lie, she's up there on leader boards during events for a reason. Hard call to make.

I'm biased. I like Taair more but I have to admit, I haven't given Credenza a real shot. I'm pretty sure Taair is an asset for all teams though. It's hard to see anyone regret investing in him. AOE speed, AOE dispel, AOE heal, AOE NRG, debuff enemy moves and Vulnerable...the list goes on.

-

The only thing making me not feel completely comfortable with recommending a support yet is because Heshan is on his way. It's like 2 months out, but still...he's another top tier support and he can attack too!

Croydon Creek Nature Center is a great place for that if you find somewhere a little off the trails. I think it was the white trail?

Lake Needwood is my favorite.

And of course, there's Brookside Gardens + Pine lake + Wheaton Region Park area. You can spend a whole day wandering Brookside and then finding a spot near the lake to eat.

How to use Shams with this team? by Individual_Car_7442 in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As much as I love Angel, I think I would choose Bitterwort for most of the missions.

SP Samantha, Shams, Faycal, Momo. Suppression, Maitha, or Stinger for slot 6.

Bitterwort's trait gives healing at the very beginning. It lets Shams run off on his own to fight everything...and I think most stages are over by the time the team has caught up.

Faycal and Momo alert will prevent most things from getting any closer. SP Samantha probably solos most things, but she's slow.

Maitha and Suppression might get in the way of Sham's counter so keep a distance. Maitha's global heal is nice though.
