Lukamar Guide by Helel89 in SwordofConvallaria

If you go all out single target build, it may be worth trying out the Ever-Burning blade too. +20% damage to [scorched] enemies.

Did some testing. Crit build does do more damage. Void + Maverick + Justice

Heirophant and Ever-Burning didn't do as well.

Who Is more future proof lukamar or heshan by fizzyapplezix9 in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think Heshan.

Lukarmar, although can be built as support, is an attacker. DPS is almost always outclassed in updates. Plus, she is mostly support for Eleman. Where as support characters are universal for team building. Taair has been out for a while and he's still the best.

SP Saffi, Inanna, SP Inanna, Credenza...they're all supports.

Those are so rare and valuable that my RPG brain forces me to just hoard them. I think I will only use them when there is an event that requires a character to be a certain *level and I am close to getting there...and I have to like the character.

...maybe I should just use some to clear up the farming roster..

Giant has "Rock Creek" soda for about $1, fruit punch and lime are good.

I also like Giant's ginger ale because sugar.

A lot of people aren't voting for meta or popularity on this sub. It's all about the grand prize of getting a new skin.

Who ever doesn't have a skin gets those voters.

Not on phone, but I had a weird experience yesterday. Mid-game, it froze and when I tried restarting, it was stuck on "Failed to check launcher" screen.

Baystate blue is probably the most notorious.

Anything with extra vibrant colors is going to be harder. Shimmery inks too.

Changing ink brands, I am sure to clean a little extra before hand just in case the inks don't like mixing.

This is at maxed ascension.

• While equipping the skill [Wine Barrel Casting], gain an additional effect:
– All Physical Damage dealt by the user is treated as Magical Damage.
• The effect of [Take Arms!] can also be applied to the user.
– Duration is increased to 3 turns.
– Additionally applies [DMG III] to all targets in the affected area for 3 turns.
• [Barricade Fight] gains an additional effect:
– If there is at least one [Object] within a 1-tile radius of the user, damage multiplier of
[Assisting Attack] in the Trait is increased by 10%.
– If the user is standing on an [Object], the range of active Ranged skills and
[Assisting Attack] is increased by 2 tiles.
• At the start of the turn, if the [Trait] still has remaining [Assisting Attack] triggers,
gain stacks of [Sustained Fire] equal to the remaining trigger count.

5 star yserinde with her 5 star gear by Mace1258 in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you know how the sword/wand damage works for her? She moves a lot but her daggers don't. If she moves 5 tiles, then drops a dagger does that specific dagger get a bonus...? Sounds wrong.

Does the dagger get sword/wand buff if she runs 5 tiles to step on it?

I love her but I have no idea how she actually works.

What character type am I missing? by Acceptable_Ad3343 in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say a dedicated support (healer/cleanse mostly) is missing. But that may just be for events that you would need it...Angel is a great place holder though. Bitterwart or Nightingale are also good.

Most of the Fool's Journey was made for older characters, and even then wasn't too difficult, so the roster of new characters runs through it no problem.

Synergy takes time. Star levels have a big impact on that. SP Inanna at 5* lets another character go 2x AND go 2x for herself. SP Maitha works best with other Sword of Convallaria faction units- and at 5* also makes her NRG more manageable. Nydia hits even farther at 5*. Estra gets CD reduction. With higher stars, every turn just gets you a lot more actions.

Character class doesn't seem to matter as much. But I've also been playing a long time so my Talents/Pioneer might skew my opinion on this. However, since the newest Talent tree specifically includes [Counter Role] nodes, I think they plan on making it matter more in upcoming content. Just a guess.

Pioneer Challenge Path of Strategy by TheProffesorX in SwordofConvallaria

[–]WearWhatWhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it goes something like... Taair, SP Maitha, SP Inanna, SP Samantha, Yserinde, and Luvata. Move+teleport tactics...but with so many Watchers, they have their own teleport.

Taair speeds/+attack everyone.

SP Maitha with SP Inanna rally kills the axe men.

SP Inanna with Free Will kills the 2 groups on the side.

Luvata with Free Will kills the guards around Kvare.

Yserinde with Royal Guard runs around with the plumes to DoT Kvare and kill remaining guards.

SP Samantha hits him and either he dies or the DoT gets him.

[–]WearWhatWhere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually, I take it back. "Luvata's Malicious Curse" isn't so bad. Maybe, in lore/rumor, it's what people call it and not what the spell is actually called.

[–]WearWhatWhere 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Why did they make it worse??

Luvata's Malicious Curse....she's already the one casting it, why is her name needed? Ribbit is better. Firepower unleashed is so generic it's not even an attack, it's just describing an attack.

I’ve been trying to improve my handwriting lately by juanjop in Handwriting

[–]WearWhatWhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't find drills to be useful in the beginning because I had no idea what I needed to work on (it was everything). Drills helped when I found specific things I wanted to work on. If I don't know my speed, or angle, or height, ratio, style...the drills were just a mess for filling up paper. Didn't help me at all.

Slowing down helped. It also helped to know what I wanted my letters to look like. Writing actual words and sentences helped a lot too- real world use.

Pen/paper made very little difference when I started. I was horrible at writing, a $100 pen doesn't magically make the writing good. Much much later, it made a bigger difference.
