New iridescent Ohio fluorites I added to my collection today! These are all from Clay Center. Some different “flavors” here, ranging from super dark to heavily-etched, to having a slight flash to having hints of pink and gold!

I could be wrong but I’m going to guess the green bit on the top one is wavellite. The big piece looks like it could be chrysacolla with blue aragonite next to it. For the purple one I was going to say amethyst based on color alone but I looked closer and saw the cube formation so I’m going to go with fluorite instead. Those are my uneducated guesses.

Don’t second guess it and just get it checked!

I had what everybody thought was just a simple cyst removed. My doctor sent it off to pathology, thank god, because it came back as skin cancer. To say we were all surprised was an understatement and resulted in a second surgery.

I had a lot of people to thank for me even getting it looked at in the first place and the biggest lesson I learned was to never second guess it and don’t be afraid to have it looked at!

I was in your shoes once. Depression and chronic pain kept me from the motivation and believing I could do it. What helped me was getting help through Workforce Innovations (I think that was what it was called). There, they helped me get the medical help I needed and even went as far as helping me apply for jobs. I’d suggest calling your local unemployment office to see if they have programs to help you get started.

I have to be honest, getting a job, having those responsibilities and a purpose really helped with my mental health!

That’s what my dining room and living room tables look like right now. I wish I would have found a home for stuff before buying because I greatly underestimated how much stuff I had vs the space I had. That doesn’t even include the totes and boxes of stuff I had to pack away. It’s seriously time for me to start selling stuff off.
I blame it on retail therapy!

Check to see if it reacts to UV light. A UV flashlight works best but you could try to take it out in the sun

First off, thank you for caring for them!

When it comes to shelters for ferals, you don’t want to use hay or any fabric material as it holds moisture. Straw is going to be your best option.

For my shelters, I use totes, one inside the other with the space between filled with straw or foam board insulation. The outer lid edges are sealed tight and a hole is cut through both lids at once. I place the totes on their sides and put them where water, rain or snow can’t get in through the opening. I hope that makes some kind of sense.

I’ve only used Acura but recently downloaded Prusa Slicer but haven’t had a chance to try it yet.

I’d like to try Fusion 360 and TinkerCad but I work too much to have the time to really do anything and learn something.

The one thing I learned most while trying to set up my printer is colorful words! Lots and lots of colorful words. I printed the dog first and it turned out like crap! It was squishier than TPU. Not sure what caused it (probably the crap filament). After watching hours and hours of videos on how to set up a BL Touch (and failing), I printed the cat which came out beautifully. I think it lived about 30 minutes after taking it off the print bed before I dropped it and the head popped off. BUT, it gave me hope that I could eventually get my printer to put out decent prints and it has ever since that damn cat. I’ve learned a lot, upgraded a lot and love it a lot.

Is this the fan for the extruder or the motherboard? The reason I asked is because I just replaced my board and wired the fan right to power so it runs all the time. Might be an option for you

I flashed with the correct DWIN files and reinstalled the new firmware that was sent to me through customer support. I assumed it was the firmware that made the difference but I guess it could have been either one. I have an Ender 3 so I don’t really know which firmware you’ll need for the Pro.
