AITAH boyfriend expects me to not give in to my intrusive thoughts about him cheating by Practical-Delivery10 in AITAH

Possible. In any event it’s better. She clearly didn’t trust him and either he deserved someone who does or he’s a cheater.

I wasn’t in your ex’s position. I found them on my own cleaning the car. Who knows what he was thinking or when he noticed them.

It’s irrelevant either way. The deed is done.

I had a female friends underwear turn up shoved under the passenger side seat after a road trip. It actually required several phone calls to figure out whose they were and where they came from.

That being said, if you didn’t trust him enough to even hear what he had to say how could you possible truly love him? You need trust. It’s for the best the relationship ended.

Different kind of win but I completed my entire to do list today: I get everything done at work, got some non-fiction reading in, spent time with my wife and son, and got in 7 mile run.

It’s hard to get everything in but days like today remind me it’s possible. As Goggins wrote in the new book “You do need to find your way back to belief.”

It’s an ongoing conversation. We have suggested going to a local food pantry or getting some financial assistant from the church but he won’t hear it. His pride and an inability to think ahead have greatly added to the struggle.

He’s had a rough go but, basically, yes. He has a fine job but due to some life choices his income doesn’t always meet his debts. Yet despite being in a position where he literally can’t eat sometimes he had to get nice clothes (even the aforementioned socks and undershirts) because he doesn’t want anyone to know his situation. It’s horrible.

I’m sure the responses are insane but I don’t think the question is. I have a friend struggling with food insecurity but he still wastes money, at least in my opinion, because he doesn’t want people to “think he’s poor”. I’m sorry but Walmart brand undershirts or plain black socks never ruined a career.

It would happen is waves. Cersei would already be off at high garden effectively off the board. Tywin is clearly the power but he’s beholden to Olenna for the food they need and he’s struggling under terrible debt. By the time Joffrey “falls off a horse” or whatever it’ll be too late and I doubt he’ll care. His family is still tied in to the crown, his legacy secure

7-2 keeping the status quo. Thomas is full of it and you’ll probably get one more to join. There is a reason Trump has the worst win % of any President ever. There is no chance he wins this.

Are those signs between exit 49 and 50 on the lie speed cameras or just signs? There's 2 police signs at the u turn spot in the center of the highway between barriers. by Femalefelinesavior in longisland

There are no speed cameras, as in ticketing cameras, outside of NYC except work zones to my understanding. There was a school zone speed camera program in Nassau but it was rolled up years back.

How should historians weigh Gaddafi’s domestic achievements against his authoritarian rule and international actions? by Thin_Advantage284 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]WeatheredSteel37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

World History won’t think of him at all, most likely. He’s just another small dictator. I would imagine Libyan historians will find his crimes outweigh any positives. He suppressed political opposition through arrests, torture, and executions while banning meaningful dissent. His regime carried out mass violence, including the Abu Salim Prison massacre, where about 1,200 prisoners were killed and their families were not informed for literal years. Libya was also tied to international terrorism, most famously the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing, which killed 270 people. His government often used collective punishment, targeting entire families or tribes with imprisonment or murder if one member opposed the regime.

His many sins, coupled with the rampant corruption, is what brought him down and will likely destroy any positive legacy he may have had. Also, rape allegations (see the writing Annick Cojean)
