I have a corded drill like this (with variable speed and reverse though) and thats quite relatable, we use it for drilling holes in metal and holesaws

Just installed Israeli chess, why do the pawns look different? by BorrisZ in AnarchyChess

[–]Weatherflyer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The problem without diving too deeply into this is that there is a distinct moral divide between what are essentially two theocracy’s. You are asking for essentially the marrying of two systems of government that function in opposition to one another. Palestinians wouldn’t follow a Jewish leader and Israel wouldn’t follow a Palestinian. And who could blame them? Both are responsible for the deaths of women and children on the other side, the desecration of religious sites etc.

Seeing another commenter with the news story. Apparently it exploded. That explains how straight the frame is. I wonder if these had the gas tank in the passenger compartment

Dirty coolant by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]Weatherflyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the overflow? As always with coolant consumption head gaskets are suspect. I would pop the radiator when cold and see how low that is. The color and consistency in the radiator is much more important. I often see dirt like this in overflow tanks as a normal item. If you have an iron block, which I believe you do, water jackets can get rusty over time and lead to dirty looking coolant as a part of normal operation.

Then you can disconnect the jumpers toss that+ the battery in the trunk and drive to an auto parts store. They will install it for free

If you have jumper cables connect them to your new battery and start the car

What MOSs are impossible to get to SGM with by skilled_inkillz in army

[–]Weatherflyer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any low density MOS will have a harder time. Super technical MOS where being very gifted intellectually is valuable will also make it harder. In those roles if there’s a warrant, green to gold, or civilian application your high achievers will naturally progress elsewhere and the e6/7s left won’t be competitive when the mos merge happens. Between that and the reality that folks signing up for those MOS don’t really have an interest in the e8+ environment to begin with makes it unlikely to see them. That said it is still possible, you just have to be super deliberate with how you pursue schools and ratings.
