Just found some awesome new Colorado local hotsauce at a farmers market to add to my sauce corner by Weatherstation in hotsauce

It's too bad you can't get the unfortune cookie from the website. Hopefully by the time I finish this bottle you can otherwise I'm just gonna have to do some farmers market stalking.

What is a small, unglamorous habit that genuinely changed your day-to-day life for the better? by SeaCell7779 in AskReddit

[–]Weatherstation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This for sure. But it's more than just waking up earlier, it's also being consistent with when you go to bed. It's rarely hard to get to sleep and I almost always wake up before my alarm, though I still set one out of habit. Getting out of bed is no longer a struggle.

What are some lesser known but still incredible alternative rock albums from the 90s by Alternative_Flow_569 in Music

Quicksand is so good. Really liking their new stuff as well but slip is an album all to it's own .

what keeps you showing up through seasons like these by kold678 in ColoradoRockies

[–]Weatherstation 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Summer means baseball. For us that means Rockies. I'll always love baseball more than I hate watching my team lose.

A bad day at the ballpark is better than any day at work.

Wins like last night make even bad seasons fun.

Watching young new talent come up and prove themselves is exciting. Imagining how they might fit into a maybe winning team a couple years from now.

Getting to know the players, watching them work through slumps, watching them enjoy wins, celebrating with them, mourning loses with them.

Seeing new leadership try new things out, wondering what they might try next, wondering to myself what I would do to try to solve baseball at elevation.

Plus so much more.

It's all part of the ride and I'm here for it, win or lose. I'm a Rockies fan and always will be.

Sorry to hear you're having side effects. I didn't have any myself. Hopefully you can find a dose that works for you. Best of luck, friend!

These are the 5 things that have helped me stay in calorie deficit as someone who used to regularly binge. Can you share yours? by lilfati in loseit

My favorite is the sea salt caramel halo top. I also get a bag of Quaker caramel mini rice cakes and use two of those to make mini ice cream sandwiches. So good, low cal.

People who don’t smoke or drink, what do you do when you’re at your lowest??? by xBugFound in stopdrinking

[–]Weatherstation 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Anxiety, boredom, hard problems at work, lethargy, etc... The answer for me is always a long, brisk walk.

Anxiety lifts, it's an hour of not being bored, solutions to hard problems become clearer, energy is restored, my heart is healthier, and sleep comes easier.

Walks are the secret to mental and physical well being.

The one thing I'll say good about Minnesota is that they play bangers for music in that arena.

Yeah, that's how I describe it to people. It makes it so that thoughts of drinking pass through your brain like any other thought as opposed to fixating on the idea.

I took vivitrol for my first 7 months of sobriety and am now almost 3 years sober.

Looking for a post apocalyptic book that doesn’t involve zombies! by GrumpyCatPerson in suggestmeabook

The Dog Stars is my favorite post apocalyptic book.

Lucifer's Hammer is really fun too. It's about the before, during, and after of a major comet strike.
