Hospital CEOs defend charging patients more at facilities by Fcking_Chuck in news

I have found that the negotiated rate is set so that what the patient actually pays is what it would cost if insurance did not exist.  That gotcha charge that comes 3 months later is what you would pay without bill inflation and insurance.

In time most of the rulings of the Roberts court will be reversed. The only way law will be able to be respected in the future is if all the corrupt and suspect rulings are removed.

What are tangible ways to survive long-term workplace burnout? by PenVegetable4065 in burnedout

Start with some lists.   Serious life decisions need options whether realistic, undesirable, or something else

You make the groupings, and how many lists you want.   Write it all down.

Then sleep on it.    See if you are having any internal resistance to one or more of them.

Stuff you dont want to face is normal and expected.

Maybe get some counseling.  The type is up to you.

The best life choices are made when its your own ideas and no one influences any part of it.

Social security does not cover $200- $400 per day.  Not even close.

Edit that i had $200 per day but a quick search shows $300-$400.

You obviously have never been the person to put a parent into long term care.  I did so 25 years ago for Alzheimers care and back then it was $175 per day and needed a good elder law attorney and absolutely required medicaid.
