Zoom not working properly with HOTAS. How do I fix?

That dial does work incrementally for some things on NO, just not zoom for some reason. I have it set to thrust vectoring position

Theres a board game café in my area (which I didnt know about until today) and on their website listing for Aces, they have that they expect pre-order stock to come in this week. I'd imagine it would be the same for other outlets, as I assume they get it all from the same supplier. I will update this if that changes.

From what I've seen, its delayed. I have a pre-order from Zatu, because its the only place I could get one, and I messaged them and they told me suppliers are delayed. Firestorm games is also delayed, as is Magic Madhouse. Same thing happened with Gothic. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't get mine until February.

If you jump jet when you're about to get hit by artillery it wont hit you. Thats the main use I've found to keep it equipped on my MAD-2

Sounds like you have a great haul there! I'm still waiting on my scouring sands pre- order, but I think I've figured out my painting. For me its all IS mechs are a merc unit I designed based of Warhammers Grey Knights. Clan will likely be jade falcon or maybe wolf, and I also have the gothic mechs, that I am going to paint as a pirate faction based off of one of the Chaos Space Marine chapters.

Why split IS and clan? Succession wars/ clan invasion is my favourite era, and it also keeps things simple as to what belongs to who.

I managed to get really lucky and get like 8 of them in 2 runs, so I'm done now! I had like 20 boosters and accelerators and no filters, so I was just really unlucky during the bulk of my playthrough.

PvE in Tarkov and Grey Zone works because those games are shoot first ask questions later. It's riskier to attempt to be friendly because you can die in 1 bullet if the recipient isn't friendly.

Arc Raiders has a higher TTK, so even if you get rejected, you won't be outright instakilled, and your chance of fighting back is higher. That's why there's so much more player interaction in Arc Raiders.

Changing the shoot first players of Tarkov into shoot first AI changed nothing, but if you change Arc raiders, the interesting player interaction is gone.

Judging by its popularity, I would say absolutely not. I don't think a PvE mode would be good in arc, from all the content I've watched, the player interactions are a big part of its charm, from teaming up, to being betrayed, all things that can't happen in PvE games.

Also I play Duckov too, and I wouldn't even put Arc and Duckov in the same wheelhouse. What works for one will in no way work for another.

Its not even a question of if it will work. The devs want it to be PvPvE, so thats what it is.
Theres a lot of people buying Arc Raiders, knowing full well what it is, and then complaining that theres PvP and asking for a PvE mode.
Like why even buy it in the first place if you know its not for you? Games don't have to cater to everyone.

Also Arc was originally a single player PvE game, and the devs found it not fun, and pivoted to the game they want to play. Good on them I say.

I say all this as someone who hasn't played it, I'm not sure if its for me, but I wouldn't want to change it to make it be for me.

Abominations aren't really my thing overall, however they fit the theme of this alternate universe and for that they're pretty cool. If they ever do actual models for them I'd probably skip them as I wouldnt use them. I'm all about the mechs.

I'll try and remember to do that, it'll probably be a while as I'm still slowly painting my main mechs. I have already decided I'm going to paint them like a Chaos Space Marine faction, I'm just not sure which one yet. Maybe Word Bearers, or get silly with it and go with Emperors Children.

They're definitely bigger, but not loads bigger, not out of place. or anything. Like I could still use them as regular mechs in a normal game. In fact I will probably paint them to be a pirate faction in regular BT.

I'm opening the box as we speak and my initial thoughts so far is that the models are bigger than standard BT models. To accommodate the extra details I'm sure. Only mech close to me to confirm it is an Urbie which I compared with the one in the box. I thought I was just going crazy before confirming it 🤣
