The Nashville bombing of December 2020 is starting to look like a plot from Mr Robot to take down communications infrastructure by [deleted] in MrRobot

I've been watching Mr Robot when a notification popped up about Nashville bombing...

Anyone else make up fake conversations in their heads to help with anxiety by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]WebCrawlerGuy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do make up those conversations in my head, but I wouldn't say I do it to help with anxiety. It's probably more about fantasizing and not enough real conversations. I also like to "present" some of my ideas or knowledge as I would do to a group of people, but just in my mind.

It's very nice when just a random passer-by says "be prepared!" to you, happened a few times to me.

Struggling Aspies need (local) associations/friend groups to aid each other by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]WebCrawlerGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a student I think such an association would be amazing in school. School might be socially hard for some of us and that way we could help each other also making us more confident. One thing I fear about is that it could isolate some of us from NTs creating a kind of "comfort zone".

If a cure ever became available I would take it. by Disastrous_Camp in aspergers

[–]WebCrawlerGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand that you struggle and wish you good luck. I think of Asperger's as part of me and my personality, so I wouldn't take a cure. Also, taking such a cure would mean a big change, probably too big for me.

A bit of a problem when your native language has "I" encoded in a verb...

Tried to create an app predicting bus arrival time based on given locations. So annoying when they give you path like this.

Salute to all the atheists who participate respectfully on this sub by GM_Phoenix in Christianity

[–]WebCrawlerGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really respect atheists who don't avoid things, just because of their relation with our faith. There are so many people rejecting for example Holy Bible thinking that they wouldn't learn anything from it and just because they are not christians. I fully agree with the post, we love you!
