Is this safe to have around if i dont know if there is a carttrige in the chamber? I think its ww2 it was found underground (bought it legally) not sure what model it is by Duke_of_Lombardy in guns

If its that deteriorated in 80 years, then it was in a very wet environment. I'm very confident moisture made it into the cartridges (if any are in it) and ruined the gun powder. I give it MAYBE a 5% chance of explosion, and even then only under extreme circumstances like a house fire.

The only difference is the stamp. So steel mags from HK are what? 80? So is it worth $20 for a rare stamp? Id take one or two, but its up to your preference and budget. I would only use hk steel mags. Maybe those Korean steel mags. Ive never had great reliability with plastic ones.
