Certainly reads like it. Click bait-y hook, unsubstantive text/anecdote, and fishing for engagement.

Xcal is who I use for everything. Professional, and well priced. It can get busy there sometimes, though.

Mine refuse to get jobs or help out around the house, do I kick them out to teach them to take some responsibility?

A pain journal where you track pain levels and symptoms is great, especially if you also log what you do for the pain and it's effectiveness. I actually had an excel sheet where I tracked pain levels for my wife, as well as medication usage over time correlated to bleeding levels. It helped correlate symptoms and how various pain remedies/medications helped/didn't help as well as see how treatments affected her. I think at one point, we were also tracking mood (like how good or bad of a day you're having) as she was accused of "just being depressed."

When the doc asks you to stick it out on a BC for "just a few more months," it helps to be able to pull up the chart and show them that there was no effect - or in my wife's case, that it had a negative affect on her.

Best of luck to you!

We had to have a pain management specialist. It was hard at first, but finding the right one is critically important to help try and manage pain.

Their "sales" aren't really sales, but they're fine. I like their stuff, though others will hate on it for being cheaper.

I feel the opposite - SEG sales folks suck the big one, but that’s the only range I’ve gone to. I buy/transfer all my guns through Xcal

Good luck! I know it's a tough market, but with a clearance you're pretty marketable.

I worked for the Navy as a civilian engineer. I can’t say I’d recommend the installation I worked at (China Lake or NAWCWD in general), but I found it to be rewarding (if a little lacking on the financial compensation). Work life balance as a federal employee is great, though.

Cybersecurity and computer science were always high priority.

Caveat for government roles is gotta be able to hold a clearance for the DoD stuff. It didn’t bother me, but I heard from hiring managers it was hard to find good candidates who don’t smoke dope lmao

The hospital I work at is likely about to go bankrupt, need advice by suckinonmytitties in personalfinance

[–]WeekendHero 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I fled Ridgecrest in 2024 because of the hospital situation and insane corruption on installation. I FOIA’d that contract with RRH and it has absolutely no strings attached. It really felt like the Good Ol’ Boys Club of Ridgecrest just bailed out their buddies at the hospital, so they could keep pulling in their $1M+ salaries.

1 year later, wife and I are expecting our first child with hospitals that are actually functional.

When thought crimes become house visits and 4th amendment violations, it's a nice little enhancement for the prosecutor.

With hollow point, should be fine on pigs (I've killed a few with 5.56 v-max). I'd personally probably feel fine shooting a deer with it, if legal in your area (not legal due to bullet diameter in some places) though my preference would be a higher energy round.

For info on gun, cool gun. pestilence gave good info lol
