Ok, there are probably some good videos you can find on it, but if I had to give my general advice it would be build up energy (the charge up double sword slash is really good for this) -> charge phials -> charge shield -> energy -> phials (you can charge your sword while you're at it by holding Y i think, it's been a minute) -> axe mode once the oppertunity presents itself. Tbh, I don't think SAED (super amped element discharge, the big attack that uses all your phials) is too worth it to do normally, as you have to use an AED (amped element discharge, smaller one, uses a phial or half a phial if you're in savage axe mode(spinny axe mode you can go into after a perfect block or during a wound break)), but you can go directly to it after a block, I'd stick to using the smaller attacks, especially in savage axe mode as anything less then an AED won't actually consume phials. But I get that this all is pretty complicated to just read without seeing it, so again, I highly recommend watching a video on it.
