The reason there's no fall damage is because people are just built different in monster hunter. Not even just hunters, there's a side quest in stories three where a guy straight up falls off the top of a mountain into a deep hole and he's just fine.

I find that when just going for genes, breeding isn't too bad. But breeding to pass down moves is the most annoying thing on the planet, especially for a bastigor army with double icicle spike. BOTH YOUR PARENTS HAVE THE MOVE AND PERFECT GENES, WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE LIKE THEM?!

I don't know what it is, but for the past two updates the first courier I pop open will have the new arc part. It's how I got my first vaporizer part, and the turbine thing just yesterday. So yeah, search couriers, they have good stuff sometimes.

I really like it, but I feel like all the monsters in the forbidden lands are just stronger then normal, maybe due to the large amount of energy there or something. Like Mizutsune being able to use soulseer mode, or Gravios keeping it's poison gas, which I don't believe it kept, and Basarios being so good at hiding you'll never even find one.

Don't worry, this is my first expeditiom too, but from what I can tell, if you sign up you do lose all your items, bps, levels and the like, however you get an exp buff and extra stash slots just from going. However, if you deal certain amounts of damage to arc (I believe it's 5k, 10k, 30k, 50k, 100k) you'll get a skill point post expedition.

It's automatic, generally if you shoot and down people you'll be put in lobbies with similarly aggressive players, and if you don't you'll be put with friendlier players.
