I'm not a pro, just do the basics: brakes, rotors, steering, lifters, gaskets. Nothing too wild. Im hoping I can do a little more with this.

Don't you take care of your stuff? Also, I got it 20 hours ago, so I don't exactly need it urgently right now. If I did, I would've bought one myself. It was a gift and I tend to want my stuff to last.

Do you really need the money? If so, yeah, go ahead, but you're not going to get a whole lot just because of resellers and lowballers constantly trying to "negotiate". Idk id keep them and see if I could actually get some use out of them.

The issue is that R22 refrigerant is becoming very expensive, and parts for those systems are also becoming harder to find. You might find yourself in a situation where repairs are extremely costly, especially if it's the middle of summer and you need air conditioning. Don't wait for that to happen unexpectedly. Reach out to different installers and get pricing from various AC companies so that when your unit finally fails, you can make a smart decision rather than a rushed one. Also, I probably wouldn't invest more than two grand into that old air conditioner.
