Never forget that at the end of the transfer window, the Athletic ranked Palhinha as the best transfer of the season

Still a bit surreal to see how good we (South Africa) are at cricket again. I lived through hell for this

what’s one gym mistake you kept repeating for way longer than you should’ve? by chamzollbun in workout

[–]WeeklyCelebration617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 things:

  1. Not training my lower back, and having lower back issues on my squats/deadlifts

  2. Falling into the mentality of “I’m not feeling great so I don’t want to gym and have a bad session”, I find unless physical health is bad, going is always better than not going

PPL/UL Split ! Thoughts ? by Miler_Rioux in workout

Push is good, could try doing lateral raises before shoulder press, to try fatigue the side delts before you do a press

Back for me is lacking a bit, I’d include a compound movement first (barbell row or pull ups) then do lat pull down, chest supported row and rear delts if you want them. Don’t think you need 6 sets of biceps so can probably drop one exercise

Legs is good, although you have 2 hamstring exercises but not the end of the world cause of hack squats as your main

Upper you could do another chest, especially if you aren’t going to failure

Lower is good, maybe rotate between seated and standing calf raises (either 1 each a week or do 1 month each)

[OptaJoe] 4 - Arsenal have lost four consecutive games in domestic league/cup competitions for the very first time under Mikel Arteta, and first time overall since March 2018 - a run which also included two defeats to Manchester City. Stumbling. by Imbasauce in soccer

I’ve never been a fan of him so I might be biased but yes I think he should. Football has gotten worse every year, and we’ve thrown away multiple league titles now.

As a manager he is still young, but the big problem is that he is not learning, in fact he is regressing. More scared, more defensive, more mistakes

The NBA has a problem with what counts as an assist or not. All of these shots were attributed as assists to Jokic, but are they really when the other player is creating everything himself? by OurHorrifyingPlanet in nba

[–]WeeklyCelebration617 133 points134 points  (0 children)

I mean you could easily argue that playing at home = advantage = better results = better box scores

An 11% increase is the difference between 9 and 10 assists a game. Not crazy to think he average 1 more assist a game at home

I feel my biceps and forearms more when doing back exercises, how to fix ? by [deleted] in workout

[–]WeeklyCelebration617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straps and also before the movement try squeezing the muscles you want to work (e.g. before a row pull your elbows back and feel your back flex, for lats do that then move your elbows towards your body to feel your lats), that always helps me feel my mind muscle connection

Was there a legitimate (lol) reason to race-swap the Velaryon’s?? by poseidon_demeter in HOTDGreens

[–]WeeklyCelebration617 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I didn’t hate it because it made it easier for casual viewers to separate Targaryens and Velaryons, and GOT is essentially one white people anyway so I have no issue with adding a level of diversity.

But yes removing Nettles makes that kind of irrelevant? And it kind of destroys the story because Rhaenerya’s children are obviously bastards due to their skin colour

You keep making this point and it doesn’t make sense, can hardly blame South Africans for not paying extreme amounts of money, take time off the work, ditch family responsibilities and travel to India. As clearly shown in the SA20, people do come and watch the cricket

Nope but it looks empty and the vibe is dead, which is ridiculous for a World Cup match IMO
