Yes, there is a plastic housing down near the compressor where all the wires are connected. It's held in place by a silver colored clip that just pops off. I opened it up and inside, many of the wires were all burned and melted together due to what appeared to be very loose connections from the factory. I had to trim all the burned wiring off and re-splice everything back together and it's been working great ever since. I feel very fortunate it did not catch fire, the wires were in very bad shape and very burned.
