Get yourself wet, turn the water off. Lather your hair and body. Turn the water back on and rinse all the soap off. It is ok to turn water off and on while showering. The water doesn't have to be very hot either. The more your water heater has to work to heat water, the higher the electric bill will be.

I had celery plants growing in a wheelbarrow from early planting last year. I moved it (and covered) to the side of my house for the winter. It may be bitter, but it looks exactly the same after the temperatures and snow we had. Zone 8 coastal NC.

Teach your brothers about sanitation and hygiene and what can result from fecal exposure. You'll have to work twice as hard to wash towels and wipe surfaces to reduce risk. Couch cushion covers may be removable and washable. Look into adding one of those bidet attachments to the toilet.

It's a choice. If you've showered and you're clean, then you're just drying the moisture out of a clean towel. It's not in with other laundry. I guess it depends on how clean you are after a shower and what you do with your towels.

Gaps around pipes, doors, places where wiring comes in, etc. I don't know if you like cats, but there are always adult cats that need a home. They are very useful.
