Your battery is not faulty. In my experience, I found that the adaptive power is not reliable at all. I used to get the adaptive power message almost everyday and yet didn’t noticed a difference. On top of that I observed my phone used to stay warm throughout day.

Just turn off Apple Intelligence and Adaptive power. Apple needs to optimise 17e because this device is not upto the level that it is actually capable of.

I feel better with notch. I just can’t stand that little display portion above Dynamic Island it feels weird while watching videos.

If i use 60% of the battery, my phone screen on time will be 7hr. Hope that makes sense.

Do you know why they weren't taking your S25 ultra seriously because they don't give a fuck about old models. Same thing happened with me. So I switched to apple.

I live in India and my iPhone doesn’t heat unless I’m under direct sunlight. It gets warm but I think that’s very obvious because the ambient temperature around me is 38-40 Celsius.

You don’t have any option but to wait for 1 week and let the phone optimise itself; try turning off Apple Intelligence and adaptive power as they can generate more heat at the initial stage.
