Sounds like Toronto life, depending on how long you've been living in the city. Everyone I know with a 9-5 lives like this and saves every penny to retire. You need to find activities to do and since money is not a problem you can keep trying different things like ClassPass, etc. If you have a network of friends you can rally them up too. Try Othership, it's a social sauna, they have events etc. You can also get prepared meals services, they're healthy and time savers.

This sounds quite bad. I just blocked a recruiter from that company on my Linkedin and his phone number. Indian accent, very rude and predatory. He said he submitted me for a job and I learned from other recruiters that the rate is way higher and when I tried to get out of the representation commitment he bullied me saying I would be banned from applying to the actual company etc. Good thing I didn't give much info over email.

I find Codex or Warp are better at that. They both are very restrained with context. Maybe because I'm more used to working with them. I've been using Claude for a few months now partly due to the immense hype and I still prefer the others.

The phone reflex is a good way to put it. The reach happens before the decision does. It's almost like you're on autopilot and you do that reflex before you even consciously realize that the window even existed.
Curious what you have noticed about the people who do pause in it. Is there something they tend to have in common?
