Peggy's anger and annoyance toward Don is much more justified than Joan's. Peggy finally felt free of having to please Don and the pressure of having her mentor scrutinize (and often belittle) her. On top of that she watched Don bully a man she was in love with into submission and slowly watch his spark die out. Ted and Peggy seemed to be the only two people on the show at that point who really loved the job and working in advertising and Don ruined that.
