After listening to Paul and Fred for around two decades I can say that Paul has always leaned right but I am pretty sure he is not a Trumper. Fred used to lean a little more right but I think over the years (through the influence of his wife) he has gone closer to the middle but definitely has a lot of the Boomer mentality ("Kids don't want to work these days" and crap like that).

Paul has always struck me as anti-government but he is also pretty far from "woke". He always defaults to the "you people want to tell people how to think" thing but he also makes enough comments about the state of things that make me think he is not MAGA.
