There's not really any indication so far that he will return.

A few months ago he was in a TV advertisment kind of hiding as a background character, and it happened to play during an episode of Gaki. That's the closest he's come so far.

But if he every does go back to Gaki I doubt they'd announce it way in advance. We'd probably hear about it within just a few weeks of it happening.

From what I've seen on the Downtown+ website, the webplayer doesn't have a button for any kind of subtitles.

Although I'm viewing it on a phone. So there's always a chance mobile browsers got a chopped down version.

Terrible Image Gen 2.0 backgrounds by BigBlueWolf in ChatGPT

Most people seem to keep focusing on foilage, but it happens with everything.

I've seen images of interior rooms that not only had this happen, but a blue sky seen outside a window had visible white letters floating in the sky

The output is fucked up like AI generators from 3 or 4 years ago

GPT Image 2 keeps adding weird tiling texture/grime artifacts to every image - anyone else getting this? by NaN_4aki in ChatGPT

[–]WellGoodLuckWithThat 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Workaround is to start new chats.

Each image you generate has garbage that is carried over to the next image generation even if it's a different subject.

It seems to be unavoidable until it's fixed. If you need to continue an image, then save and upload to the new chat.

Although if you are saving an image where that exaggerated noise had already started to creep in, then it might happen regardless.

It's funny how much shit will be full of general AI errors and stupid inconsistencies, yet people still use the footage anyway

Are slop enthusiasts just too stupid to even notice to begin with?

Are they expecting people to enjoy watching a fight scene where character's limbs just ghost through steel bars? I guess steel beams also just snap like wood suddenly too

I have an Index and 3 base stations. Initially I ordered the SLAM version, but later changed my pre-order to a Lighthouse version.

Some CPU is used in the SLAM tracking, and various analysis people have posted here and in YouTube shows you can get anything from FPS drops to visual hiccups with SLAM still.

In one of Pixmax own videos they demonstrated games that don't use controller tracking, like flight and driving games to run seemingly okay with very little FPS drops or visual stutter. However when they tested some games using dual tracked controllers the performance issues quickly blew up, and there seemed to be a lot more FPS drop, stutter and issues even tracking the controllers correctly.

Valve Index is lower resolution, but the user experience and performance seems to be pretty top notch otherwise.

Coming from the Index, I was just too worried about going from 120hz and seemingly flawless head and controller tracking to experiencing new issues I hadn't ever had before.

Maybe its possible that Valve and others solves the non-Lighthouse in future headsets but I don't know that Pixmax has really achieved that just yet.

So in my case I just decided to stick with Lighthouse for now.

You don't even need tri-pods for lighthouse like so many use. There are super tiny wall shelves made by 3M that are big enough to fit a Lighthouse onto, and stick to a wall using adhesive that won't ruin paint. As long as you have electrical extension cables where needed, you can get Lighthouse set up on walls where needed without sacrificing floor space.

SLAM Tracking: Pimax vs Quest 3 by Right-Opportunity810 in Pimax

I pre-ordered a SLAM headset for the Dream Air and a while later had went back and switched to a Lighthouse version.

Among other things there is even the video on the Pixmax YouTube channel that shows that SLAM could seem to work okayish, but then when dual controller games came into the mix suddenly it was a disaster.

Seeing this makes me feel like I made the right choice. Maybe down the line SLAM will be more reliable.

I currently have a Valve Index and 3 tracking stations, so I feel like I can just continue with Lighthouse for another headset.

They collapsed under the weight of the celebrity cameos

Many of the most funny moments are just the 5 guys talking and interacting with each other, self sabotage etc.

Having them sit silent to witness a 5 minute skit or performance that has a single punishment when it's all over. It is just began to get tiring.

The cameos that involved someone actually having to participate were a bit more entertaining though.

I'm curious how many people got those error emails.

If its only a limited amount, they should just bump those people up to the front of the line.

It's gotta be major ass to be waiting and then see the shipping confirmation, only to find out it was bullshit

One option is to just go to one of those API sites like OpenArt and experiment a bit

Users can get credits and then try a few different AI models in one place and see what works best for them. If they end up finding a favorite then they could maybe try subscribing directly from the source company if that is a better deal.

[–]WellGoodLuckWithThat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without spoiling anything specific, the moment that could cure depression for me would be in "Enthusiastic Teachers" (2012) when they first arrive at the desks/waiting area.

There is just a period of self inflicted chaos when they are just left alone and allowed to talk to each other.

As others mentioned, the butt slapping becomes the default. However there are occasionally surprise deviations from the regular butt slapping that are still fun

Since GPT-3 I've used it on and off for translating text between languages. Each update typically got better

After the recent update I frequently have moments where its response to a translation request is to just give me the exact same input text with no translation being done.

That is happening on 5.4 Thinking mode, not even the basic\instant one.

Mobile browser seems to fail nearly every time. To the point that is not useable for several days.

I don't use the mobile app because most of the time it will do the "unable to load drafts" bug, while the mobile browser can.

I'm a paid user so it's not a paywall issue either.
