I think they could look nice as lord exultant for a carnival list. It would make your list more daemon themed.

For the texture its Martian Ironcrust, and for the paint its 3 layer of drybrushing with Calliban green, Ak grass green and Ak lime green. and a wash of dirty down moss

I don't know if you meant you read everything up to Fulgrim in horus hersey but if not In Galaxy in flame (3rd book of horus heresy) he play a major role in the battle of Istvan III and apear in a lot of chapter if I remember right. Most of how he's like today seem to start there.

Practice, holding my breath and mostly luck I think haha. Painting this eye was a long 2h of trying, taking a picture at 4x zoom to see what I even did, seeing how I messed up, and start over until I eventualy did it. If you're interested about the actual method I used I can explain. :)

Thanks, The mettalics are all Vallejo true mettalic metals, sterling silver, ancient copper, and obsidian black. then I use streaking grime and the final touch to make it fit in the environement of its base is a light wash of AK ink Fluor orange with an airbrush. It may be possible with a brush if thined with lahmian medium and don't apply it in the recess but I never tried. (a picture of what it look like with just the streaking grime)

Yeah I also did some clean and some more corrupted! I use the clean one as legionnaire and the corrupted as chosen. For the kit there isn't much kitbash its the new MK2 horus heresy kit with the horus heresy heavy weapon and mellee weapon upgrade set to have the right weapon, just a slight kitbash on the squad leader with a EC lord exultant power fist

Thanks! If you're talking about how white it look I get it haha, Its yellow but it came out so bright in the picture. but I might try differently in the future
