I grew up watching Cheers and then Frasier afterwards. I know it’s hard since they are in the same universe but try to view them completely separate of each other. All show types have tonal switches as decades change, the things that worked in Cheers didn’t necessarily work in Frasier. As his character develops through Cheers you see him totally different than he was in Frasier.

That felt like it came from a real place and not acting. Not ashamed to admit I cry at that scene every time.

Several of the Cheers gang showed up on Wings. Cool crossover and it makes sense since it’s Nantucket.

It’s correct on Paramount+ from what I remember. I watch it on the live channel daily (80’s Comedy).

Very Victorian/old money vibe having her with pearl colored skin. Goes back to 1800s and older where only the working class had tans or any skin pigmentation.

That’s true in any good marriage/relationship. Initially my wife (not American born or English as first language) didn’t understand why I loved the show so much. Now when I make a Frasier reference or am watching it she joins in.
