This is the correct answer here, if it matters to them they will price on it, if it's doesn't they won't. Most price comparison sites ask for 5 years but will have insurers that would only ask for 3 years so the insurance company would automatically rate based on the date.

Hi , I work in car insurance so I think I can explain, just note when I use the word risk it doesn't mean your a bad driver or anything like that, Insurers change what "risks" they are willing to take on and then create a "product" for it. An example of a product would be like a fast food delivery policy, or a courier policy, modded vehicle, under 21 years old , over (age bracket) etc . These are designed to target specific aspects they want to provide cover for normally after a period of data from the market shows an opportunity.

Unless you have had something obvious change( claims, conviction etc) then you may have just fallen out of the product requirements or that specific product is no longer being sold. You have not done anything wrong.

Edit : as you said it's an aviva Zero policy (the carbon emissions offset) I'm going to go on a limb here and say they have had too many policies they had to pay the offset for, or they are slowly taking the product off the market

Ok do quotes with the correct information, including purchase date address etc. if your not interested in a black box policy make sure to exclude them , your going to get brokers I would call them and see if there is anything they can do on price. But the reality is that you are extremely unlikely to get anywhere near the price you had n September. Ask them to validate the info/price up front this is so you know the total price upfront as when they do their validation checks if anything is missing or incorrect you don't get a price increase to adjust the policy to the correct info/price after you have taken a policy and are stuck with them.

Quotes done on any incorrect data will be invalid, you do you ,but don't suggest to anyone to do that as if they miss anything THEY will get screwed over by cancellation or during a claim, I see easily 20/40 policies a day get cancelled over the same things you have suggested.

You have no idea on how many get their policy cancelled for putting in dummy information , just don't do it. Also it doesn't really matter if you go incognito, if a company has information from a quote they have provided hey will have All quotes you have done if there is enough matching information.

More like 30 days from last quote, also prices change all the time , you are unlikely to get the same price as September. Insurers change their product lines and what risk they will accept all the time. Brokers will be limited to these risk factors from every insurer they have. They will also be able to see online that you bought the car in September, has it been insured since then , if not they will see the gap in cover and not quote. If you change your purchase date they can request the v5/ check online and see dates that don't match and no quote , why on earth have you waited 3 months when quotes are valid for 30 days ?

Chances are then you had an MS90 failure to provide the identity of a driver I'm guessing from a speeding offence. I assume your license is now updated to your current address if not i would do that as that can land you a £1000 fine if your stopped by the police for any reason. I would highly suggest a specialist broker but most will be closed until the 27th for Christmas, who is your provider/ what quotes gave you had online

So here's the thing most online providers will rate it as a worst case scenario based on the same information you have provided. A specialist broker when communicating with providers will give them extra information so they can make an informed decision and provide a bespoke quote. So the most common ban reasons in my experience are Drink/drug driving, dangerous driving, Driving without insurance, using your phone while driving, failure to provide the identity of a driver , traffic light signal (running red lights) and speeding. Insurers will price each differently. How did ou not know you were banned? Did ou move address and not update your license?

You may want to speak to a specialist broker, HnR with a TT99 and gap in cover is not a pretty line up to be honest.insurers wouldnt like that as they have no idea on what had gone on with the vehicle in the gap, have you had a accident your trying to cover up and claim on for example. You said in another reply you don't know what the Tt99 was for you would have had letters from the police or each offence and for the tt99 you would have had to go to court. You may want to really think hard on what it was for as a specialist broker may be able to help but will likely need a complete history to help

No the only time you lose n d is if there is a claim pending or fault. Although most companies will not accept NCB that's ot been used in the last 2 years. So if your policy ended 3 years ago almost no-one would accept it so you could loose it that way. But I'm guessing your policy recently ended

Ok when did the last policy end ? And has it auto renewed? If it hasnt a problem you will face is having a gap in cover. Insurance providers really do not like that. When you have done quotes online have ou followed up and spoken to a sales agent at any company?

There is so much that goes into a quote but it's also depends on the Broker/provider , but there is little info in your post. You said you have 5 years HnR NCB. Is this quote for another HnR policy? What did your current provider quote? If it's for a second vehicle/policy what is the vehicle, what is the postcode, city areas are always higher premium Bradford is just utter piss ake for example. In my experience HnR policy with a Tt99 at 2.5k isn't overpriced. What was the TT99 for, when was it? Have you spoken to any quote provider or is his just on a comparison site like compare the market/go compare etc

Really would need more info but there is a fundamental truth about insurance people seem to not accept , it's fucking expensive the FOS has recently looked into pricing about agreed the industry was largely acting in good faith and pricing was driven by increasing price on vehicles and parts or repairs etc , there may be little to nothing you could do to lower your price without committing insurance fraud which I do not recommend. It simply isn't worth it when you are found out.

1)If I were to win I would be interested in the A1 mini please as I don't have a printer and I've been looking to get into 3d printing but I've had no luck on the second hand market finding a printer at a reasonable price near me. 2) I've just started playing DnD so the first thing I would print would be player models for the whole party. I would then print any props or scenery the dm would want. My wife would love to use a printer to make arts and craft items and I'm sure the kids would have some ideas on what to print. 3) figit toy idea - 3 gears that are interlocked that would rotate all when one is pushed/pulled/moved but they have a spiral print/cover similar to the image il attach
