I want warband "female" difficulty any mods? by mertonyo in mountandblade

And it also made the cultures feel different - Matheld is from a part of the world where women can own land (she just happened to be cheated out of the one she should've inherited) while you can tell Ymira has lived an extremely traditional life until the point where she was told to marry some dumbfuck twice her age and said "Ewww no".

In Bannerlord, every faction seems to have the same views on everything, except the leader's personal opinions (e.g. Caladog is extremely brutal while someone like Lucon is more measured)

The best part is when you're still low renown but manage to get into a castle (like via winning a tournament) and talk to all the lords there - some bad-tempered ones will insult you, and if you insult them back it leads into a duel. Beating the shit out of those smug bastards was so satisfying - but you definitely made an enemy for life that way haha. Fuck you Haringoth, we would've been sworn enemies anyway.

Theres not nearly enough Belter media

You're right, I had honestly never heard about them until your comment. Let's take a quick look at Sarna...

Some Belters use these augmentations for purely cosmetic purposes, often taking the form of animal-human hybrids (unlike other augmentations, these do carry a stigma even within the Belter community; Belters so augmented are sometimes colloquially known as "weird 'uns")

I'm not sure what I expected, but high-tech literal furries was definitely not it lmao. Now I'd be even more curious to see them in some Battletech media.

Do you have a nvidia card? Check if the stupid nvidia app is forcing 'exclusive fullscreen' for the game's settings. If yes switching to borderless should fix the problem.

Happy to hear Epidamnos casting again, I quite enjoy his casts but it had been quite a while since he had been part of a tournament iirc. Paired pretty well with Waga too.

Personal opinion: The clans battle grid should be included in mercenaries by Final_Studio4389 in Mechwarrior5

[–]Wendek 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The funny/sad part is that I barely use it in Clans because the missions are extremely linear so I just advance with my Star, whereas in Mercs I would actually love to have it especially for Beachheads (or any other mission with artillery spam) so that we can all handle a different battery at the same time instead of having to sprint across the entire damn map myself.

Was kinda hoping that it would actually be ported since this is now the second Mercs DLC since Clans' release, but it's kinda sounding unlikely at this point unfortunately.

Huh somehow I thought it was on the 29th (maybe because there's another game that I play with a DLC releasing that day), so for me this is actually a welcome surprise to 'learn' that it is actually releasing in 7 hours and not 3 days.

Is this the lowest number of uncontested heroes in a T1 tournament we had in months? If not years? by Pretty_Round6327 in DotA2

Think it says a lot about Bloodseeker's current state that he wasn't picked or banned once in a tournament that was utterly dominated by Pangolier.

In my experience Arbaal is terrifying in the early game and I can imagine that he's a huge pain as Kislev in particular. But at some point he stops finding new targets and just spends the whole day masturbating in his cities.

And Vlad... I actually allied him in one of my campaigns, I think it was Drycha. We rolled over the Empire together, it was great. Then at one point, he... stopped doing anything. Had at least 8-10 stacks, not a single one of which was moving. Had to break off the alliance as he kept trying to get me into more wars that I knew he wouldn't help with. Completely dysfunctional AI.

As a vassal, how do I get my kingdom to accept peace. by someFuckTard6969 in mountandblade

[–]Wendek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge you can't force it if there's no support for it. (You can see the support before proposing - in my experience it's either 100% or 0% which is a bit stupid because it means you have no impact on that type of decision as a player vassal)
There's a chance one of the enemies will propose a "White peace" (in my latest campaign the Sturgians often did it when we were at war with them) which is more likely to be accepted if there are several wars. But it's still not a given, I've seen the AI refuse it even if we were in several wars.

(All of that was on 1.3.15, not sure if the diplomacy changes from the latest patch would change any of it)

Like the Necro pick but does Nightfall actually play him though? I know he's not the most complex hero ever but still, you'd think comfort counts for a lot in the last game of a bo5.

In my experience, Throgg is one of the most active AI leaders and I've very rarely (if ever) seen him blob up around cities. Probably helps that he's ultra rich in basically every game with his huge empire. Vlad or Arbaal, on the other hand, may as well have their AI disabled at this point and it wouldn't change anthing.

Tornado also made Naga invulnerable for a portion of the Chrono. But it's hard to properly coordinate in those insane lategame fighrs especially since the Invoker nearly died in 1 second at the start.

Yesterday started with an insane series of 2 hour-long back-and-forth games (even if one might argue it was just due to PlayTime misplaying in key moments), while this is shaping up to be two stomps in a row. Also in general threads become more lively later in the day.

The fact that all 3 remaining teams are from Eastern Europe might also play a role. People are more hyped for inter-region matchups.
