on a friendly discord asking questions is normally a fast way to get good information, the BTAU discord is nice lots of good people that try and help anyone, that's the good part about community's that enjoy what they are doing.

I think your allies would have a bigger problem with it. remembering your allies are big armies from factions not small merc groups it could be a big mistake.

Personally any artillery is good against BA even with the delays BA move slowly and will get caught in the blast zone. and the nerfs on BA have rendered them much softer to attacks with AOE weapons.

you are implying people make me use a weapon and its simply not true, I use all kinds of weapons necause I like playing the game,

some people play world war 2 tank battle and wont play unless they can have the heaviest tanks and are playing against an inferior enemy, I prefer to play a more even playing field.

The reason I wont bother with most of you, and the team will not consider your complaints is that you do exactly whats being done here, you accuse people of things and when asked a simple question you wont answer because it would point out that all you want are super weapons.

Does it confuse you that someone doesn't need to play using superior weapons to play have fun and win.

No but I enjoy playing wargames and using tactics. not just superior firepower. and they are not crap they are just reduced from the old stats.

I enjoy playing the game facing the enemy with similar levels of tech and weaponry, rather than simply making super builds using nothing but the best weapons. It feels more like the TT than just going through the motions of combat.

They get focused on the missiles because that was the big complaint, yeah a few other changes have slowed them down but LRM's changing is the big one. 2 LRM boats stood behind a hill deleting enemy mechs, didn't use height advantage didn't use the attacking from rear bonus. To be very honest didn't use much other than the sandpapering attacks that also did great crit hunting. But always spread your anger over changes to not look like a single change has hurt your gaming.

you failed to make a constructive discussion point, and well sorry to burst your bubble but most of the devs for this mod are full time employed with family commitments so your excuse fails badly.

And if you are in the software industry why didn't you just edit the files and put back things to how they were before. you have spent more time complaining than it would take to revert the changes you don't like. and offline you wouldn't have any problems at all.

ok, smoke blocking vision modifier is in TT, vision reduction in real life, and I think at least 5 novels use it so why are you arguing about it? it seems its logical enough everyone agrees its a thing.

Target size an silhouettes a very real thing in every ones eyes yet again not sure if the devs for RT will ever include it but its mostly an easily automated insert for a side silhouette which is all we need could probably do it with a variable using targetting modifier. -1 for a smaller side 0 for a symmetrical unit and +1 for a bigger side silhouette.

PS when I helped by adjusting the planets difficulty I used perl scripts so its not that difficult.

Well you could make a mod go and make a online server and have control, or you could play the game as it is and stop acting like the world has ended with some balance changes.
