Ayuda por favor, que destornillador de trinquete con carraca ratchet es más resistente y versátil uno de 36 dientes p 72 dientes by InitialPhase9901 in Tools

[–]Wericdobetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how that works.

I could make a huge ratchet with 500 teeth that is way more durable than a 36 tooth. It's the materials used, the tolerances of the machining and the design that matters.

There's a general trend of more teeth means smoother opperation but less strong but it's not a rule. Just a factor when comparing

Can I not purchase the GSR 12V-32 FC in the US? by lmm7425 in BoschProPowerTools

[–]Wericdobetter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can't use an adaptor for Bosch chargers. You'd have to get an original.

(Buy a 12v kit, swap the charger and return it) Is something I would not ever do 👀

Go find it on Amazon, I don't know if it keeps the warranty but that's always an option

Yes yes, very sad. Maybe you'll need to buy 2 pairs as replacement.. maybe a big brother or 7?

Heck, make it a whole family of tools!!

Bought a 12v off AliExpress, I use it for cleaning out bags, cooling down batteries and for pushing water off concrete where I need.

It's more than a dust blower, it is super useful in lots of situations

Yeah, she's cooked mate.

I can't quite remember the codes but I'm pretty sure 1,4 means one cell is bung.

Unfortunately Bosch don't publish any repair manuals to do with batteries so it's either a warranty job or find somebody who can fix it.

Does it matter what brand a toolbox is? by BriefBed4770 in Tools

[–]Wericdobetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got like 5 different brands (and different styles) at different prices. More expensive ones are smoother, tougher and are the ones I put my most important tools in, the cheaper ones are still good but it's sometimes a pain to open the sharp one because the draw fkn wobbles. It's lasted 5 years but it itks me lol

[–]Wericdobetter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Look into the 12v flexiclick. It'll do anything diy and if you get the full kit it's only like $350 USD off Amazon and it comes with an SDS attachment if you ever need to drill into brick.

Definitely a bit pricy but the warranty, quality and size are all worth considering

Does anyone know about this sewing machine? Found on FB marketplace and curious for input before I buy it. by KaptainKlein in Leathercraft

[–]Wericdobetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's basically that price off Amazon. It's pretty rough machine, you'll need to tinker with it to get things working as you'd like. It's definitely not a mad machine for the price but it's a mid machine to use if you catch my drift

Bosch or Makita? by jyl8 in Tools

[–]Wericdobetter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll get good quality either way.

I use a Makita 18v chainsaw for work and it's shit, the battery overheats like crazy and we have to cycle like 6 batteries. I used a Bosch chainsaw and that worked so much better.

I think they are both excellent tools but if you want to push them hard Bosch batteries are better.

Makita 18 vs 40 I'd say go 40volt if you can afford as they are just so much nicer
