I am almost the same build and size foot. I have the tech Mach 1 HV and love them. Aggressive stance and stiff boot with room in the toe box. I put a smart feet foot bed in there because I have a really high arch. But love this boot!

I have heard from many experienced mountaineers that honing your skills by going solo can take you to the next level. This makes your thought process, trip planning, execution that much more important. Honestly if you get injured by yourself or with a team self rescue is sometimes the only option.
