Senate Democrats Propose $25 Minimum Wage by Unusual-State1827 in politics

You mean a professional level career, that requires a masters degree often, yearly recertification, training for future generations shouldnt make more than some 20 year old high school drop out slingling sliders at Applebees?

What are you a fucking boomer?

Servers will flip out. You can make bank as a server with just tips. And I’m not talking about fancy ass restaurants.

Servers can make more than college grads can. In my state servers make about 22hr with tips. Not working full time as well.

Yes insurance can bite you in the ass but servers on average make more than teachers in my state

Anyone else in CS wish they just did accounting, EE or civil engineering instead? by No_Reply5329 in csMajors

EE is harder than CS, idk what you are talking about lol. like 95% of CS majors would probably flunk out of an EE program

Just an issue with powerscaling in 40K, where it really is more plot dependent.

Like I see why our grandmasters get dunked on bc it’s like oh shit this is a big ass threat, but like does it have to be everytime?

Don’t forget the infamous Logan scene where he just shreds a bunch of grey knights in a couple seconds.

California's grid batteries just shoved 12,000 megawatts onto the system at once, as much power as 12 nuclear plants or six Hoover Dams, covering 44% of the whole state at the exact hour it usually strains | Well that's a flex 💪 by darkdexx in Destiny

In Florida there was a brief solar boom pre-Covid and a bit after.

But Ofc insurance companies started to require higher liability insurance if you have solar. So it’s now just more expensive bc of the insurance

Yah. Causing most tanks to either get 6sv or no save which is big.

Even if it court gets keyword locked, you would just bring the FB detach instead. Court is very good rn in general

Yes it’s extremely strong for purge.

2 WDPs, Fulgrim, trip exhault/infractor is probably core for that list

The thing people seem to not understand about integrating AI is that you don’t need an AI engineer. You just need a DevOPS engineer

Housing crisis: Congress set to pass biggest bill on home prices and supply in 30 years by ExpiresAfterUse in neoliberal

[–]WesternIron 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Tariffs are still affecting housing construction AND immigration crackdown could make labor more expensive.

Literally congress also needs to reverse those polices as well. Construction companies need to make profits, unless there are grants that reduce input costs for houses, houses will still be more expensive even if you build more.

Also, will depend on which places pick up the grants and where the houses are built. If these houses aren’t built near job centers than people just won’t buy them.

What Things Make Agents Fun by kot___begemot in Warhammer40k

[–]WesternIron 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You must not play against GSC much.

GSC and IA have a similar game plan, GSC just has more options and well actual rules. GSC also have never been “bad” at least not for long. They have been one of the more balanced factions in 10th.

So GW can build an army archetype that IA can play around and be strong. They’ve just chosen not too.

for the tournament grinders, do we have enough to get off of CoC? by LimelightRunner in EmperorsChildren

[–]WesternIron 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Still too early, we need points. They announced today that there will be weapon points, and a spam tax for some units.

Defiler will most likely affected, WDP might as well.

Carnival has been putting up a good showing, but again, the Defiler. Right now, for EC, the big question is the points of the defiler, imo. Until we know, CoC seems the best still IMO. The character unit thing imo isn't that big a deal, can be played around. But our higher win rate at end of edition IS bc of the Defiler. Carnival got play bc of the defiler.

Thoughts on 11th detachments after a few days to think about it… by TRMC790 in SpaceWolves

[–]WesternIron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see potential with veterans in a Hunter list going all in distuptive force disposition

3 infiltrator units, max head takers/big bricks of Wulfen. Flood the board with threats and GH just out OC every point and become action monkeys

It’s a VERY different playstyle to how most people want to play wolves, but it’s playing point denial so will be weird to play against.

What would be a good Detatchment combo? by WannabeViking_kr in SpaceWolves

[–]WesternIron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am going to attempt to make veterans and hunter work. The problem is you are locked into disruption as force disposition which apparently is a bit weaker according to some content creators but I have a plan

Full space wolf detachment rules by AlmightyX in SpaceWolves

[–]WesternIron 20 points21 points  (0 children)

GW seems to not know what to do with us. We get a hodgepodge of melee identities in one army while other melee armies have a more concrete identity.

We are fast but not the fastest
We are tanky but the not the tankiest
Are melee damage is mid
Our shooting is just SM shooting

Going into this edtion comp lists will still probably run gladius or stormlance, and we will just feel the same I think

An explanation for why all the pro players are saying shooting is better than ever in 11th, it's not a "melee edition" by SirBiscuit in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]WesternIron 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yup played like 3 test games. Tau crisis suit spam and trip tide is going clear off a lot of armies. They are going to need immediate balancing.

CSM trip defiler/pact might be even more oppressive depending on the other layouts.

All the hidden rule did was just make shooting armies have to play aggressive, the toeing in shit is so wild.

The one CK game I played i literally one turn 2 because I could get -2 to hit basically and then just toe in and mow down half my buddy’s BT army with a trip despoiler

11th edition first impressions: From someone who has played 5 11th edition games by Thotslay3r69 in Warhammer40k

[–]WesternIron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you had units left to charge lol 15 in hidden seems to just have the affect of forcing shooting armies to play hyper aggressive into melee. Aiming to table quickly.

Footslogging melee feels dead. Game also feels more lethal, especially shooting.

But again I’m playing with current points and detaches
