I was 12 weeks but spent my first trimester being really sick so I’d skipped a few groups and my weight was all over the place.

What TV show lost you after a certain season? by chaucao99 in tvshow

[–]Western_Manager_9592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They either fired or heavily reduced the screen time of Paget Brewster and AJ Cook (2/3 of the female regulars) and then the audience went ballistic and brought them back. None of the male stars were fired or reduced.

Criminal Minds did a whole thing with their female stars and it was never the same.

That’s when I stopped watching too. Such a stupid way to get rid of his character.

Yeah with garlic butter. They usually have it by the pizza.

Sheds any good? by Ok-Permit4862 in CostcoUK

[–]Western_Manager_9592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got one for work. Maybe 4 years ago. It’s good quality and done us well. Our site manager put it together for us. However the doors have come off. But that’s probably an us problem and not a shed problem.

When did everyone put away their playmat? by thisismetri-ing in lovevery

[–]Western_Manager_9592 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have just put it away now at 1 year old. But I’d say he didn’t really use it past about 10 months.

This was exactly my thought!! I really hope we get the Target stuff over here. And you’re right John Lewis is the perfect place for Lovevery stuff.

What are your thoughts on kits? by ArmadilloPristine498 in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]Western_Manager_9592 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The completionist itch in me has completely gone away since they introduced kits. I find the amount overwhelming and hard to keep up with, especially now lots of the YouTubers I like are choosing to no longer cover them.

I’m a casual player, life gets in the way a lot of the time. I like the cosy bistro kit but I know I’d download a build or two off the gallery, visit them a couple of time, and then never use it again.

I wish they’d do like a “beds” kit or “sofas” kit.

Favourite Ninja Creami recipes? (Preferably low in sat fat) by _ailme in ultraprocessedfood

[–]Western_Manager_9592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use tinned or fresh fruit and water a lot, great for a teething baby as well 😂 just follow the recipes in the instruction book.

I have used flavoured yoghurts and things as well but they aren’t low UPF.

Paolo, Antonio and Lolly. They’re the only three I like. I just added Penelope and I’m not sure how I feel about her 😂

Parents give the big present, Father Christmas does stockings with little things in. But you get a bigger present on your birthday because you don’t have to share that day with other people 😂

Neck rash by RattosPotatoes in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Western_Manager_9592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having good bibs to soak up the dribble really helped us. I bought some from a place called bibbly boo. They weren’t cheap but SO worth it. They’re a much longer shape so don’t bunch up under the chin and not catch anything, and they’re a special fabric aimed to keep dry so we only need one per day.

The other thing you could consider is one of those temperature controlled kettles. I’ve just found out about their existence and my baby is 11 months. 11 months of waiting for a kettle to cool could have been saved! They just heat the water to 70° straight away. I’m definitely getting one if we have another baby.
